Greetings, I'm currently making my way from Oz to the UK on my DR but have to head back to Australia for 4 weeks or so towards the end of Feb. Don't suppose anyone on here that lives in Malaysia or elsewhere in SE Asia has some garage space I could use for this time in return for some Aussie beer or the like? hi there resident, i read a travelers who did uk to Oz put his bike at Red Baron Bangkok, when his family has just suffered a bereavement whilst I'm on the road.
About 3 years ago I rode my DR from Phnom Penh to KL with a friend. I needed to go away for work for a month. I was staying at the Novotel in KL. We just left our bikes in the carpark and chained them to one of the concrete support pillars for the month. Came back, checked in, dusted the bikes off and a day later rode off. They stored our gear in their store room as well. Just tipped them a few dollars. cheers LaudJohn BTW, great hotel, it was newly opened than and very good customer service.
I'm in Si Racha and have a parking space I do not use. My building is guarded by security guards 24/7.
