#2 is because I already had topic:
    https://advrider.com/f/threads/need-ideas.1477011/

Which resulted in kz650 purchase. I am in a process of restoring it which takes a lot of time and resources but I enjoy it a lot! I see end of it(project) in 2021.

(maybe I'm sick?) - I am always looking for "next" bike. And this time I am set for airhead BMW or moto-guzzi. All from same era (1978 is year I want)

This topic is to see what was available in US in 78 in 2-stroke street bike versions? If not street - than maybe dual-sport?

Any 2-stroke you think cool(pun intended) to have and ride? Just name them and tell me what you like about them? I don't know much about those at all. Let alone prices or availability.

    2+ cylinders. Ideally 300cc+
Something with more or less available parts.

I checked Suzuku GT, doesn't look like any were sold in 1978 or I am wrong? GT750 ends in 1977

So, maybe I should narrow search: 1978 US models 2-stroke street-legal bikes. Preferably of "standard" type

Just keep looking, they pop up for sale once in a while. Vintage 2 stroke prices are on the rise though, especially for nice ones. :nod
