Today marks 50 years of the historic moment in which man set foot on the Moon. To remember that anniversary -surely many of you don’t know-, the Montesa founder, Pere Permanyer, was so impressed with this global milestone following it on television, that decided to give a Montesa to the first man who stepped on the Moon. It was the King Scorpion model, which the American astronaut accepted as long as it was not used as an advertisement. To thank him, Armstrong gave to Mr. Permanyer the photo that accompanies this text dedicated and signed by himself. Extraordinary!

Wow. A signed photo is worth a lot!

I've got 4 or 5 moon photos in a box somewhere, but none are signed :-(

Do you think that photograph would have been taken using (analog :-)) film and then later developed on Earth, or would it have been a Polaroid-type process? So happy that Neil couldn't have done a digital selfie. :rofl

Springs and damping for the shocks would have to be lighter on the moon
