Discovering the downside of enjoying too many daytime
Fantastic, now I'm here too, no excuses for missing any riding opportunities, it's been a long time since I caught up with most of you! (If you haven't seen on KB, I'm just about to pick up a newish WR250R.)
Go the mighty WR!
Long time no hear. Not a lot of group rides like the old days. Still keen though, keep an eye out on Facebook top of the South adventure riders page too.
Hoping that we'll be able to ride in the next couple of weeks. I know of a few people that are looking forward to the next group ride. It's worring that I've done more KMs on the mountain bike than I've done on the motorbike (on gravel/dirt) in the last 6 months.
I've only had a Lifan repowered Honda CL50 for the last 5 years so very little gravel/dirt. I bought a 1983 Honda FT500 in January, which has created a kind of itch. We're pretty lucky that the mountain biking is so good locally too, I'm looking forward to seeing if my increased MTB skills will transfer across at all...
Heading out for a post lockdown ride on Sunday. Going towards Wakefield, Motueka Valley in search of gravel. Leaving Jacks Tyres, Three Brothers Corner @ 10am. All welcome.
Would love to catch up for a wee explore Rog,,, but really got to go check out the 'Ranch', its gonna be a jungle.
Welcome to stop in for a cuppa if you end up on the Dry Weather Rd,, Cheers, Muzz.
Picked up my new bike last night, it's soooo nice. I think I might have a delayed Mother's day commitment, but if I don't I'll be there. I can confirm that knobblies are not the best on seal.
Son said there was a panniered DRZ for sale on Nuttal/Tarrant/George Harvey road this morning.
Anyone know who is selling? Cheers.
There's a ride over here on Sunday if anyone's interested. Up Bird's Clearing road for coffee at the top (10.30am) and then out to Awaroa for a barbecue.
Whats the occasion?
Another great day in paradise..
Ride has been postponed until next weekend as quite a few couldn't make it.
