8 years ago while riding the TAT, I had a frame weld repair in Paradise Valley. The gentleman who opened his personal garage, and used his own equipment was named Gary. Well look who I ran into today - 8 years later!
Thank You Sir!
We then finished the day with 50 miles of open Valley riding into Battle Mtn. NV
Tomorrow 200 miles to Jarbidge - no services on this Marathon Day.
Every time I read a Ride Report about a ride in Nevada, it moves Nevada up a spot on my list of places to ride Thanks for bringing us along!
Nevada rocks! Literally the rocks can be punishing. The wide open vistas, multiple mountain ranges and big skies give it a vibe like no other state in the west. Not to mention the vigorous self reliant attitude with a bit of outlaw of the people you meet outside of Reno makes one feel like your in the wild west of yore. Our group camps hot spring to hot spring which are plentiful in this area, makes for a nice ending to a dust eating day.
Thanks for the ride report, looking forward to following along.
Captain JC - We are just beginning to experience Nevada, and all that you described. Thanks for riding along!
