Advrockrider - thank you for checking in! Half of this group did a 7 day Baja Blast this past December, and the wide open land and varied terrain was an influence on us choosing to explore Nevada!

Mike F. and Eric S. loading up on caffeine... Jeff L. has his Husky 701 in the back of the truck. We all will be carrying more than enough fuel to support Jeff on our 220 mile ‘no fuel days’

PVD just sold his 990 ADV, and now is riding a 2008 950 Super Enduro.

He is still going to ride Sweeper, and still going to help me pick up my bike!

PVD has ridden thousands of ADV miles with us. Over the years he has always brought a relaxed attitude and is a pleasure to ride with. His bikes keep getting cooler too!

Once we got all of the yard dogs and goats out of the motel rooms - we got some shut eye. This place is hilarious!

We ran into a Baja Runner - which has a LS1 corvette motor - and is built correctly.

Then rode Willow Creek up and over to Hinkey Summit. This rolls up and down to 8500’ - Steepness!

8 years ago while riding the TAT, I had a frame weld repair in Paradise Valley. The gentleman who opened his personal garage, and used his own equipment was named Gary. Well look who I ran into today - 8 years later!

Nevada rocks! Literally the rocks can be punishing. The wide open vistas, multiple mountain ranges and big skies give it a vibe like no other state in the west. Not to mention the vigorous self reliant attitude with a bit of outlaw of the people you meet outside of Reno makes one feel like your in the wild west of yore. Our group camps hot spring to hot spring which are plentiful in this area, makes for a nice ending to a dust eating day.
Thanks for the ride report, looking forward to following along.
