Snooze on LW!
Thanks for the update Kelly! We have all been more than a little worried about you two.
(praying for rain)
Thanks for another awesome report. You make me want to go ride the 990 right now! Amazing how my preconceptions of Nevada riding were 100% wrong. I figured it would be all rocks, deserts, and scrub brush.
Hope you guys aren't affected too badly by the fires and you're home safe in no time.
Another great Wan report!
I'm not sure how I feel about LittleWan riding her own bike. I've always enjoyed her action pics from over the shoulder.
Matt and Kelly, Thanks for another amazing ride report !
Ha... Love this RR! Thanks guys ( and gal) for documenting it for us! I've nibbled on Nevada a bit. I suppose it's time I took a big bite out of her soon.
It's so great to see two blue 9xx's on this ride. Of course I love seeing any LC8, in any color, in any ride report. But the blue ones to me are special. They have this " Maniacal Majesty" to them.
There's a happy Italian looking down from above saying " I knew If we built it, bad muther f'ers would come". And you guys definitely brung it!
These bikes turn mortals into bad asses. And they turn bad asses into immortals.
Thanks for the great RR,pics, videos & taking us along for the ride.never really thought about riding NV before, but I`m planning now!
M&K... What's the situation on the Valley fire ?
Hopefully you didn't lose anything...
Just caught up with this again after gallivanting around the UK and Europe for a while.
Glad you managed to survive the fires, the crews did an amazing job.
The scenery was fantastic and I enjoyed seeing some more of the USA through your eyes and words. I've definitely got come and see this part of the world for myself.
Cheers from downunder.
A great RR as is the norm for a Wan Report. I think we should stop messing around and stop calling them RR's. It some how seems to make them sound less then they are. From now on call them Wan Reports and make them special.
I would love to ride with you guys, but unfortunately I would be the small, very small, dot on the ridge 2 rows back. So all I can do is use your amazing report as a guide to go out and follow meekly in your tire tracks.
Hoping it will not be too long for the next Wan Report to hit the forum and give us some more outstanding material to read.
Take care you all.
NO mrKiwi Is not the only one outside US...
I am from Brasil and love All the Wan's RR and Love all the Oso Loco Trips...
We try to make some trips like that Down here too, Thanks for the videos , pics , Historys and Isnpirations.
Great ride! Did you post GPS Tracks anywhere?
Excellent, many familiar spots but after living here 25 yrs I still see things I never new about. It's harsh and unforgiving at times but I Love it.
Enjoyed your RR. Nevada is my adopted home and it is the place that introduced me to off-road biking after many decades of riding two wheels on asphalt. If you find yourself heading back to the Northern part of the state let me know, my teen son and I would enjoy crossing some miles with you.
GPS is king, don't be shy now....
Great RR guys! Nevada is truly amazing. We are planning a week long trip for next summer and you've definitely provided some great ideas for the route.
I agree with you on keeping gps tracks 'off-line'. You've provided more than enough info in your photos and Spot maps for anyone to figure out where you were at.
Awesome ride report! Nice Dead Milkmen reference too. Ride on!
Great RR, looks like you really enjoyed your ride, so did I.
Great report as always! Thanks for taking the time to post.
