Awesome report, Dave! I thought Tyler and Tony just liked my XRR so much they bought them, didn't know they had a specific plan? I'm glad to see they behaved themselves, for the most part! Tyler will always try to jump the fire after some beer! :lol3

    I AM GOING NEXT TIME!

    Needs me some seat time.

Excellent as always wox. How are the new AltRider bags working out?

Oh, and PV does have a little sense of humor, unless they've lost it in the last three years...lol

HA! Yeah those guys were a blast - I need to attend a Goons ride!

    There's a few more details to share . . . stay tuned!

A doctor told a friend of mine that Chapstick is almost worse than using nothing but Carmex actually works!

Thanks LW! I'll give it a try as I shot a bunch of those.

Interesting, I'll look into those, thanks!

THX Brad - Yes, you need to go next time, it's been awhile huh? The bags work great. I especially like how easy it is to pack up in the morning plus it's such a good feeling knowing that the entire contents is staying dry without any extra bagging. That means you can really condense the load by filling any unusual spaces with clothing so it's very tight and compact.

I forgot about your PV photo! :clap I guess we just missed that fellow and only encountered the old grumps - :lol3

Apparently, the Nevada Air Force was keeping tabs on your movements eh?:lol3

Reading all of your current and past ride reports (as well as from others), I would really love (need) to ride down there in northern NV. Why do we have to work at jobs with so little vacation time. Ugh!

Now I'll go read your next ride with the next set of riders.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that chopper. We could hear it flying kind of low but couldn't tell that it was coming right towards us from that canyon in the background. When he got within sight of our camp, he flared up and to his right. Never saw him again but it was kind of weird.

Wachs, I was the really cold guy with no rain gear on the 12 ktm 500 xcw.

It was nice to meet and talk with you guys sounds like you had a great trip...BTW we ran into you guys again on the big road just out of Paradise, we were all going fast and I thought about stopping, oh well.

We also went through Midas what a cool town...the bar with cold beer made it even cooler. Found out she has rooms and will get food, booze and gas if you let her know when your coming through !

Alright! Glad you found the report, wanted to thank you guys for the routing tips, it worked out great. Yeah we were gonna stop and talk to you guys too but we had a long way to go yet and it was hot if I remember.

Midas is an excellent resource for sure. I wanted to just hang out there and listen to that lady - she has a fascinating background.

    You?
