Yes, easily. I back into single spots normally but it wasn’t necessary in this little rural S. Georgia town we stopped for coffee in.

Yeah, you can’t parallel park, but no problem any other way .....at least for me.

Jeez, I've pulled a Bushtec trailer on a Harley, Gold Wing and a Can Am. I still can't back it up for squat. And fifty years ago I drove tractor trailers and can back my boat through ess turns like no tomorrow. But a five foot bike trailer, forget it. I better go practice.

You're not alone. I still plan out my parking so I can pull thru. I also ensure straight exit due to A-Hole cagers that like to block in bikes by parking in the adjacent spots on both sides.

I can't back up the Unigo. It has limited side to side movement because of the ujoint. Add it that it leans when backing up.

My wife will get off and straighten it when needed.

I do. It is pretty easy with a little practice. We have a church parking lot near our house which is usually empty which is where I practice backing it. Just pull past the spot, bars hard to the left start walking it back and trailer will turn right into the parking spot. It is exactly the opposite of using a steering wheel which is really the trick.

Not hard once you get the hang of it......

Given a choice, I always look for a place to pull through forward but sometimes that isn’t possible.

We were chatting about Tucson just yesterday. Wondered if it would be a good place to retire. But, we would miss trees as well as grass.

I haven't had to test ride one of the new generation Gold Wings. Is the seating position as cramped for taller riders as was the previous generation?

They'll just change every intersection with stoplights to roundabouts for even greater energy savings.

I'm 6'3" and found the 6th gen to be a bit roomier for the rider then the 5th gen was. Smaller for the passenger. That being said, I have a Ultimate Tall Boy seat and Mic-o-pegs. On my 5th gen wings I always has a RDL or Ultimate seat. Stock was cramped as you noted.

    Unigo looks good, Charlie

How's the Wing treating you? I don't miss mine often, but I have good memories of some great long road trips....great bike.

    I don't :lol3

Love this bike. Slightly less a highway couch than the previous gen is, but still great on the highway. Way more sportier then the previous gen.

Just a couple of weeks ago I picked up a 2021 bagger Wing. More room than my old '01 and so much sportier. I wonder about all those tests and comparisons to the big Beemer. It always seems they leave out any mention of DCT. That means everything to me. With crappie arthritic wrists I just can't ride a clutch in a traffic jam anymore.

Why is it only Honda understands their demographics?

I been riding my DCT for over a year. I recently got another BMW to ride on trips with my son. My wrist is very unhappy with me. I had to dig out the spring exercise tool to build my wrist back up.

dad2bike, I hate to say this but there comes a time when muscle strength is not the problem. Does that wrist ever spaz with pain coming from nowhere? I can compress a grip spring multiple times no problem. Sometimes...Then I watch in disbelief as half a quart of milk falls from my hand. Growing old is a b***h. But it does beat the alternative.

Bought a lighter tint Puig windshield. I’m going to try to get it on this afternoon after I gorge myself on Mother’s Day ribs!

I surely do understand. I've dealt with carpal tunnel like symptoms for years. Used to race bikes. Monday and Tuesday my left hand was near useless after a weekend racing.
