Almost done!!!! One last round of testing next week and then we go into production. I’m not messing around and releasing anything before I’m 100% happy. Photos very very soon...maybe as soon as Wednesday; you’ll be able to see the filter elements and their three layers.
There will be a dedicated 950SE kit and a dedicated Adv kit. If you already have an ITG based filter, you won’t need to rejet/ retune / remap.
We will take good care of our advrider brothers here :)
Your a feckin superstar mate, cannae wait.
So is it safe ask? If you have a stock filter you need to rejet the same as a rottie?
I’d say that if you’re currently running a stock airbox and go to any open filter system, it would be wise to rejet / tune. As for exactly what should be done to tune, there are hundreds of threads and some boxed solutions (factory pro for example) that many people use. A good baseline approach would be that any tuning required / suggested for any of the ITG filter solutions would also apply to our kit.
Patiently waiting in the queue... These projects can't be rushed!
Is the new air filter mounted on your bike Alon?
It was for some testing...newest version will be back on this week sometime.
So I can get a sneak peek at the Kielder 500?
LOL - yes, if I’m using it.
Got a preorder queue going yet @alongat ?
I too am waiting to see where this heads. Looking to freshen up my SE and also want a filter that is easier to get than the stocker. Especially for maintenance. I would love to be able to have a filter skin on it, pull the seat and swap skins without removing the tank. I will be mostly running the Safari tank.
If I get one of yours my plan is to follow the jetting thread. Bike came with a jet kit. I might be a hair rich now. I get a little black soot out the exhaust. Bike runs great so I haven't touched the carbs other than syncing them. Plugs looked good last valve check.
Not yet mate...
This will be accessible without removing the stock tank. We will also be supplying a special membrane cover that is designed for Fesh Fesh and to be water repellant. If the safari tank allows as much access as the original SE tank then you will get your wish.
Thats great! Now just need it in my garage ready to install...
Ah!!! The pressure!!! :)
You’re such a tease... I’ll bet you have a stripper pole mounted off in a corner just to practice.
