Greetings fellow Phoenix area Inmates. Recently relocated back to Arizona, reside in Queen Creek or San Tan Valley in the East Valley. Seeking to join others for casual dual sport rides in our area. Nothing real hard core or technical though. I'm a seasoned rider with 50+ years riding experience and ride a R1200GS now. Let's go riding!

I suggest you reach out to the AARG (Arizona Adventure Riders Group). A meet up group that is predominantly BBF w/scheduled rides & campouts There is a website w/ rides & activities are published w/ upcoming events so one can plan ahead. A good group of seasoned riders that take on the asphalt, graded forest and service roads as well.
There are a couple of annual events & campouts, meetups & spur of the moment rides contrived by members. Most importantly there are "no squids" or rocket jockeys, but don't think these guys let any moss grow, you'd better have a game face.

    Howdy Belstaff,

Thanks for the tip. However I googled them here and found nothing on that group.

I think AARG has disbanded. Haven't heard anything from them in a long time.

I think you're right Reidy008. When I Googled AARG it redirected me to the meetup.com website. Very suspect.

UPDATE on Arizona Adventure Riders Group (AARG) - Evidently the ONLY presence I can find on this group is on Facebook. I went online, joined AARG thru FB and have heard nada from anyone remotely associated with AARG. It sounds as if they are no longer together. Thanks all. Cheers...

Sorry guys but I don't think the AARG group is for me. Other than their Facebook presence, I see nothing about rides, events or anything. Looks to be either dormant or Dead to me here. Cheers.

LOL at the wheelchair bound group meeting at Luby's. Sounds like the local Goldwing chapter here too.
