What about foam instead of baffles? Educate me.
All racing fuel cells use foam inside their bladders. One of the biggest problems with foam is that it eliminates the ability to use a float style fuel gauge, however that isn't an issue with these little aux tanks. Even special made fuel cell foam foam will degrade over time.
Most people don't make the baffles restrictive enough. Typically on a tank with right angles you cut 1/2 to 1 inch out of each bottom corner. You want the holes/passages as small as possible without restricting fill speed.

I neglected to mention that the auxiliary tank is plumbed to the carbs via a selector valve mounted near the bike’s tank petcock. I typically run on the bike’s tank down to Reserve then I switch to the auxiliary hack mounted tank. If I run that down to empty I switch to the bike’s tank Reserve. The auxiliary tank has no foam or baffles, but I’ve never noticed any negative effects. I’ve been running this set up for the past 7 years.
