Simple Green, 10:1 with water, stiff brush, for about 5minutes, let set for about 10 more minutes, good rinse in shower, and looks much better. Thanks.

Here is the distributor in Canada - http://www.helite.ca/

In my experience customers have had a real hard time getting responses and their orders. So, if you come into any trouble, please don't hesitate to contact us.

So how does one know if they got a good fit? My girlfriend got the small one and isn’t sure if she needs a medium.

It should fit a bit loose. You need to be able to shove both fists inside the vest at mid-chest under the strap. Otherwise, when inflated you won't be able to breathe at all.

Also, lengthwise, the back should cover your tail bone and then some.

    Hi Ocho

If you take two photos with her in her gear wearing the vest, one straight on and one profile and send them to us directly - zak@helitemoto.com - it will be easy to ascertain if she is wearing the correct size vest.

I was looking at buying the vented summer jacket and was wondering what the cold weather performance is? How low of temperatures are comfortable?
A heavy sweater and good to go?
Also I am 5'8 and 170lbs with a 38" waist. Would a meshed airbag jacket fit me?

    Thanks
    Randy

    Hey Randy

As for size, you would fit well into Large vented jacket. It is made for hotter weather and vents really well. So, in the lower temperatures I would recommend bundling up. Depends on how cold it gets when you riding.

Additionally, we'll be coming out with a vented jacket with Hi Viz accents this year. So, if that's your thing keep an eye peeled or just like us on Facebook @helitemoto or follow us on instagram @helitemoto for updates on availability.

Would an xl fit as well? I am looking at a used one that has never been worn for a good price

Great to hear. I have to drive 2 hours to see if it fits so hopefully it's time well spent.

I think an XL would fit well too. I am 2" taller myself and about 10 pounds heavier and I wear an XL. If I want a little more room I can wear a 2XL.

    Go for that XL.

Picked up the jacket and it fits perfectly. Very high quality but looks like it will still be hot in the summer I guess time will tell
Thanks everyone for helping me decide!

In the heat of summer, use a cooling vest underneath the jacket. Worked for me across Nevada at 125 F.....

I just purchased the Helite Turtle Vest in Hi Viz. Should be here by Friday. Looking forward to adding this to my daily commuting gear.
