Love those. I have to ask, time frame?

    Are the mounts new?

Do these have a controller that works with the Canbus?

Will that turn off light when turn signal is flashing?

    Thank you
I think you might be asking about the 790?
yes mounts will be new and specifically sized for the 790 to be very compact and durable. The bike will require the Raider canbus controller that will allow the light on the side the blinker is activated on to dim when the blinker is activated.
No date set yet, the lights are well under way and the mounts are just getting started. The raider also needs some tweaking to work on the 790R. Hopefully we are able to provide the kit within 60 days from now.

Very interested in a 790 kit, exactly what I've been looking for. I have an older generation Optimus set, circa 2012-13 10w with the square front housing. Really like them, the only hesitation I have of reusing them on the 790 is size and weight. I'm trying to keep weight to a minimum on this bike, but after having the aux lights it's tough to give them up.

How does this new generation 2"- 25W compare to the older gen I have ? You've already stated size is approximately half of your current Optimus offering. Weight ? Beam distance ?

I have a Motobrain unit that controls individual circuits independant of the canbus and has built in PWM to be able to dim the lights when a programmable trigger is received - high beam circuit, and with some programming may be able to further dim when a turn signal is activated. See any issues with this ?

Ill have to check into the motobrain, I have never heard of that.. sounds good. We see a need for a powerful , but compact 2 inch light. IMO the current LRO lights are to large for the 790. We also think the new 2 inch will fit well on anything from a RT to a crf250rally, rounding out our product line a bit.
The new 2 inch should perform pretty close to the long Range 3 3/4 inch light. difference being more power but smaller optic, in preproduction testing they are close with the larger light beating out the 2 inch by a small margin. (both being 10 degree lights) I would like to wait for our production versions (and testing) to give any real distance figures. Prototype reflectors are not near as good as production optics.. weight of the new light comes in at 236 grams each. CNC'd case

We are thinking about adding a Amber halo ring to the new 2 inch light, this could be for blinkers or a driving light, what do you riders think?
    Coming very soon.

Amber blinkers would be great, will there also be cover options to allow low beam / euro beam like the LRO?
    Cheers

I would like to run yellow in daytime and be able to go white at night. Yellow would have to be real yellow and not the greenish color with many LED lights.

This would be perfect having standalone or auxillary blinkers built into these new 2" lights. Consider me signed up if you release these !

Will you be considering a slip on amber with an elliptical beam? Or the light itself with an elliptical filter.

Final fit checks and testing of the new KTM 790 2 inch kit and our new 2 inch light, here shown with the Amber trim ring that can be setup as a daytime running light or even a blinker. Kt will have shorted studs on the lights.
Eu testing results should be in within a few days, totally confident we will get all certs required for the Eu.

It looks like you have changed the mounting from clamps on the headlight support bars to a large crossbar added.
