That's the plan. I have a ton of work in front of me (location, dates, permits, etc...). I will have details soon.

So I’m doing the shadow of the Rockies trail, at the end of a 125 mile dirt road we find a truck stop oasis and look who’s pics are on the wall, I know famous people 9AC1F9FE-DFD4-4B4C-8C03-A4EE4F80FC6F.jpeg

That d00d second from the right looks like a ne'er-do-well if I've ever seen one. :D

We are in more of a drought than I thought we were. I cannot remember this comepletly dry. I have fond memories of this hole as I have fell backwards into this before on a 30 day old bike.

It looks like ABQ area is getting some rain. Keeping our fingers crossed over here for a few rain. Extremely dry as well.

    Cannot like. :(

The afternoon clouds have been building over our house in the canyon. But conditions not yet there for the monsoon.

We rode “pools”last week that I’ve never seen the bottoms of. They were just like your pic, nothing but a rock basin where there is always water.
Not a drop of rain here today and whatever was around has apparently moved out.

Virus concerns wiping out business, a million injustices by rioting low life in response to an injustice. An extended drought on top of it all? No thank you.

It was getting crispy dry in NE ABQ. I saw month-and-a-half-old footprints out in the national forest behind the house that hadn't changed a bit... as though they were on the moon. Then thankfully we got a good soaking rain day before yesterday:clap

Rain marched across ABQ today and we were looking wistfully at it. Then it bulged out to the east and we got another good soaking:tb

Still not a drop in Moriarty. :( Pretty sure my yard would combust if I threw an unlit match at it right now.

We finally got a nice long soaker at our place yesterday evening and into the night. SY also got a good drenching last Saturday and I suspect it got some more yesterday.
I wish I could sneak out of work right about now and do some desert riding, it would be perfect for the next few days. :sigh

    We're doing desert-ish.

Doc Joe and I are sneaking out tomorrow for two days of riding somewhere in a 150-mile radius near Magdalena. Forecast shows no rain so mud should not be an issue. Dust, yes, but when we ride it's like two parallel fish with some offset, so the guy behind isn't sucking the leader's dust plume... most of the time. Makes for some exciting times meeting people on curves, however.

Won't be on a trials bike or the Beta 390 this time. Doc on his KTM 690 and me on 'the couch' KLR 685.

Gotta test the newly installed Rekluse clutch with no clutch lever and no foot brake, and the rear brake on the left hand.

Good exercise for the brain with :scratch and hopefully no :yikes leading :p3rry and :pep
