Here's another random photo bomb of morning rider shots from Sipapu.
Even better Brewtus, did you notice the vintage riders won 1st and second overall in the amateur class. On twinshocks.
Just saw that. Grrr.....
By the way, thaks to all the trialsmasters. (You too Toni.) And special thanks to all the scorers that survived the Sunday afternoon hail storms!
Amen to that! Thanks to all of them!
I just remember Autumn sitting under the tree with her son under the umbrella shivering...not fun for them for sure.
The two crazy women on section one from Colorado were having too much fun to ever get cold. Talk about troopers.
My thoughts exactly - great event\trip - thanks NMTA!
....Just OK? I'll try to be better company next time. Thanks again for checking with me!
And then Jess busts me screaming in excitement when I finished the event sliding my way down the ski hill...gotta watch that girl hiding in the trees!
Beats sliding down the rock in her section on your ass, not that I'd know anything about that

Drew...(I know you're out there!)
How'd you do on the exit log on section 5 on Sunday? I rode that both well (1st loop) and horrible (2nd loop). Didn't even make it to the log on third loop in the rain.
Do you mean Section 4 where it was rock up, root, log? Where the EX class had to ride next to the cliff? went 1-3-3 on that in the rain, the turn before the exit killed me every time. If I was smart I would have taken a dab there each loop to get a good setup for the exit but I'm greedy and always go for the clean. Maybe someday I'll be less Bull-in-a-China shop and actually have some form of strategy.
I think Section 5 was the steep loam hill Willy was punching and I sucked that one up as well, 3-3-2, again the off camber right hander in the duff ate my lunch.
Most of the sections on Sunday were pretty burly compared to Saturday.
Yes, I do think it was section 4...with Tim and Bob scoring. I forgot you guys had to go up along the cliff to get to the EX gate and then come back down to set up for the exit log.
Same with me on #5 where Willie and Thomas were. I was lucky to just get up the trail to the start after the rain started! Got over the entrance rock on third loop but couldn't get over the tiny log in the right turn.
Sunday was harder than Saturday even without the rain. The rain, hail and mud just made it survival!
My ride was good till the hail and I just pulled up a chair and started drinking. Section 4, honest 3, 0, and punch me through. 5 was 0, 0, 5. I really thought the days were not much different as the trialsmasters were really the same.
Both days were excellent and similar as you stated, but at least in SX, I thought Sunday was a bit tougher, especially 4 & 5. Totally class appropriate and safe though...good stuff!
Good cuz SOMEBUDDY was a snivler.
Oh, I meant to say who.
