Tracked down some more pics... looks the stuff but only comes in these sizes:

"Available in April, in one dimension (front: 120/70 R 19 Rear: 170/60 R 17), the Anakee Wild is a version of clinging Anakee 3. This tire should equip the imminent OE BMW R1200GS Adventure liquid cooling..."

Low profile tire on a very heavy bike riding on rocky terrain, :huh Looks like were going to be seeing plenty of tweaked rims on the new GS.

Yea why the f is it a 170 profile? Is that what the new GS takes? They went in the wrong direction there, I'd like to have seen a 140/18 and 21" front at least as optional.

The new Ducati Multistrada is a 170 I think and the new BMW and KTM so its likely made for the masses. Might be good might not.

The new Karoo looks pretty nice but I just put on my first TKC's and they are awesome... so hope they don't change.

    KTM yes, MS no.

Seems to be the new trend for the mega adventures (MS is not really that).

I don't see why not. TKCs can go well over 3k and they are bias. These are radials and will have a bit larger contact patch so I don't see why they wouldn't.

I wonder about their speed rating.

TKC-80 have very low speed rating, Karoo 3 (coming soon) are said to have a more comfortable speed rating.

The rear TKC on my DR650 isn't going to make 3K.

Wow missed that for the MS... it is a 190 tire. Mega pseudo adventurer... but really these days.... that is open for interpretation.

TKC's are rated for 112mph - plenty fast for a set of dirt tires I think.
