Any updates on when the exhausts and fuel cell will be available?

So, exhaust kits should be shipping any day now....I hope to have it before the weekend so I can do an install and remap since I got their intake system at the same time.

As far as the fuel tank goes, when I was talking to Chris on the phone last Tuesday, he said they were concentrating on getting the 2-into-1 kits produced first and now that they're done with that, work is going to begin on the fuel cells. He's anticipating they'll be available in a couple months from now once they iron out some details with fittings and kitting the parts. Fingers crossed that they stay on schedule.....:ear

Chat with Chris about options with his new 2-1.
I'm having it flared at the end to 2.5", standard is 2.25", to allow using a SuperTrapp muffler. Reduces the cost somewhat over the Yosh and allows me to tune the muffler by adding or subtracting discs.
Should be here Monday or Tuesday. Of course I had to order a few other items. I'm starting with a stock 2010 ADV 990. I plan on doing a before and after dyno to test the outcome.
    More later in another thread.

Well, I got it!!!! Just in time to begin the install process over the weekend. 1st impressions? Very very nice! From the quality of the Yosh carbon to the welds, fit, and finish, it's exceeded my expectations so far....and the welds inside look just a good as the welds outside, so no loss of flow like some of the cobbled together pipes we've seen:

Here are a few pics showing the SuperTrapp and Rottweiler 2-1 pipe.
The construction of the 2-1 pipe was very well done and it fit perfectly to the stock header pipes and mounting bracket.
The muffler is the SuperTrapp Universal Superlight Stainless #425-25190.
The standard configuration for the Yosh pipe has the outlet at 2.25" When I ordered I asked Chris to expand the outlet to 2.5".
The only fabrication I had to do was drilling a new hole on the mounting strap supplied by SuperTrapp.
Speaking with him latter he mentioned that he was working on adding other options to allow using other standard exhaust cans.

Is it the angle of the shot or does the pipe stick out much further in the back than other pipes?

    Yes to both.
The pipes sticks out slightly further than the stock mufflers, maybe an inch or two.

thats by design... its a wheelie indicator due to the increased power... when you here them scraping just back off a little... and then upshift! :rofl

Nope! I finalized the install and took it to a local dyno/tuning shop to get remapped/tuned on Thursday. I installed the Rottweiler intake, 2-into-1 collector, Yosh pipe, SAS Blockoff, and Canisterectomy all from a stock bike....WOW what a difference! Bike runs much smoother now, no herky-jerky throttle input, and much more responsive.

Took it for a two day trip and did about 400 miles worth of woods/trail riding. First impressions are the power seems smooth across the full range...no increase in bottom end at a cost of top end or vice versa. The weight difference is significantly noticeable over stock...feels like I lost two bowling balls strapped to the back of the bike. And as soon as I turn the bike off, I can touch the can without burning myself....try that with the stock ones, lol!

Sound: One of my riding buddies has 2-into-2 Akrapovic slip ons (w/o DB killers) on his 990R and we both noticed the sound was very similar. I'd say the Yosh is slightly louder, very throaty and with a bit more of a bark upon acceleration. Beautiful sound.

Volume is going to be very subjective, but for me it's on the border of being just a tad bit too loud for all day riding. I did 200+ miles of dirt this Saturday, on/off the bike for about 7hrs (same on Sunday) and I found I wanted earplugs by the end of the ride just to tone it down a bit. The Exhaust does come with a Decibel reducer that I might try out to see if that meets my personal preferences a little better...most likely it will. It's also worth noting that Chris said the pipe will get quieter as the packing breaks in a little bit.

I took some video sound samples, when I get a chance, I'll upload them so you can see/hear the approximate sound of the system.

Wish these were available for purchase, I was put on the list, nothing on site yet or response from Rottweiler . Looking forward to the fuel cell too.
