Another country that made a step back instead one towards more travel freedom: Foreigners who stay longer than a certain number of days in Kyrgyz Republic (Kyrgyzstan) have to register at a State Registration Service Passport Desk now. The mumber of days depends on the country, you are from.

That sucks but 30 days is quite long time for a tourist. Most of us shouldn't worry.

Funny thing is that Russia is exempt but its super friends Belarus and Kaz aren't.

In the final version it even became 60 days instead of 30. That´s definitly enough for those traveling through the country on the silk road etc.

Seems to be the same for Belarus und Russia.
Belarus just annouced to let citizens of 80 countries in without visa Unfortunately only if they come in by plane.
But Russia is not one of the 80.

I think there is already an agreement between Russia and Belarus. Am I wrong?

    I don´t know.
Just read this article today, which says "Visa-free travel does not apply to persons coming to Belarus with flights from Russia and intending to fly to Russia."
