I just upgraded to the 20 this year; it's getting expensive to keep up the technology improvements!

Looks great, but having been an early adopter of the 20S (which I am very happy with at this point, 2 RMA's later), I am content to sit on the sidelines on this one and let someone else work the bugs out...

This is awesome news! Hopefully they have a sale on the dual pack of 10S for my broke ass now!

I'm all of 24 and this makes me feel old, hearing about people regretting being early adopters of the 10S...yet I'm a proud user of the SMH10, which I bought as a brand new 2-pack somewhere in the first year of my riding. I'll just have to do something asinine with my amateur radio to make up for it...

The likely unfortunate outcome is that non-current models will see lesser attention to the firmware issues and support resources will be diverted to firefighting the rushed-to-market firmware for the 30S.

It's a Sena wait at least 6 months until the fifth or sixth firmware revision and the second generation with the required physical modifications is released then it will possibily be worth considering. I for one won't be changing my 20S over any time soon.

I have already been getting compatibility issues between my SMH10s and SM20s. Now there is another generation of complexity? Greeeeeeaaaaat.

This company needs to stop releasing new products and fix the existing ones.

Of course, there's no revenue in that so guess what happens...

Sena is going to run out of people willing to beta-test their latest rushed-to-market products. I'm certainly not going to get bit again...I'll suffer along with the ones I have, and hope someone else enters the market and takes their lunch.

They also announced that their noise cancelling helmet is finally production ready, and I'd love to have one, but I'll be waiting until it has been out at least a year and there are lots of user reviews of it before I'll be buying one...

Lots of good points. It clearly does not pay to be an early adopter of Sena products; in fact, they charge a premium for it! I was lucky enough to be a late adopter of the smh10 and 20s, and I've been very happy with both products. Although, I've heard plenty of horror stories about problems with the first generation of 20s product!

Pretty sure I'll be sticking with my ancient SMH10.

Ive had the 20S since the day it was released. Ive just now had my first issue with it, it would keep saying group intercom over and over. Reloaded the firmware seems good.

Looks like this 30K uses the same mount as the 20S, plus for me.

I won't upgrade until Bluetooth 5 is supported. 4x range is a big and much needed improvement.

Nobody will get a look at Bluetooth 5 until the early Spring at earliest - unless you are someone like Samsung or Apple. It might be a while until you see this trickle down to motorcycle communication devices.

Interesting that most of the comments here also apply to the Cardo stuff too. Maybe they both should stop trying to be first to market and actually get their stuff to work, including the existing stuff.

I will sit this out. I have been early adopter (and beta teater as it seems) for S20, dont want to walk this path again (changed headset at least 5 times before got working version). Still not 100% happy as sound level at speeds 100+kmh is not satisfactory.

There is one thing no-one is delivering - real interconnected headset regardless of brand. Universal connect is a joke. Devices like this should be have common protocol. Its hard to imagine that phone from Apple would allow to call only to phones the same maker, but somehow its still norm when we are speaking about helmet headsets.
