    Hello Jesse Luggage,

Can anyone give a rough guessimate on the height of a Jesse Compartment is an '14 GSAW? When I had my 1150GSA, I had a Givi E55 Maxia mounted on top of a Jesse Compartment and had no issues opening the OEM sidecases.

On my current GSAW, if I try to mount the Givi Maxia in the stock location, the side case lids hit when opening. I was hoping that another Jesse Compartment would give enough lift to the Givi Mount and would allow the side case lids to open without obstruction?? Thoughts?

Most that I have seen are about 4" tall.

I just got my 10' bags, i was wondering how am I suppose to waterproof the bags with all those holes around the bottom delrin? I got the top no problem but how are you suppose to get it to seal with all the movement?

I am very interested in the TRAVELER Slide-Lock Mounting Plate for my 2013 R1200GS (water-cooled). This will be replacing the previous rear compartment with quick detach plate for my big (40L? 45?) Safari top case.

    Questions:

    1. The web site says "The 15″ x 19″ version has a locking compartment that trebles your tool-carrying capacity.". Do you have any pictures of this? I haven't been able to find any on the web site.

    2. Am I safe in assuming that the delrin mounting kit will work ok on the bottom of my big Safari top case?

It was nice chatting with Al briefly at the MOA national. I wish I could have gotten to the booth before he was breaking it down.

    Here's a shot of the 15" x 19" showing the locking compartment:

Yes, it will indeed. The Delrin kit can be used on any Jesse top box.

Iain, thanks so much for that! :thumb

It had not occurred to me that it would be under the top case. That's wild.

Would you happen to have a shot of how it looks open and can you comment as to whether the tools stay dry? I am also wondering about the dimensions of the tool space.

    Thanks again for your time!

    No worries :)

We don't have an 'open' photo yet - sorry. Will check with Al about your other questions and report back.

Much obliged. I'm hoping this will be a viable replacement for the two GS-W rear compartments I already have.

So, if I get the big rack (LOL) (TRAVELER Slide-Lock Mounting Plate) and put a 40(?)L Safari top case on it, and have the first generation GS-W sliding mounts for Odyssey II bags with the big bags on, will I still be able to swing open the bag lids?

That's good to hear. I took a tumble on the WABDR a couple of weeks ago and need to replace a latch on my Jesse Luggage. Message incoming...

I'm curious if anyone has had recent success with the free shipping "phrase" mentioned earlier in this thread? Seriously considering a new set of Jesse bags for my V-Strom.
