    Makes me wonder what it actually does


    ^^^The fact that they didn't see anything doesn't prove that it is placebo; these performance bandates effect ECU in open loop mode when transitioning from one state to another.. and thumpers usually run in open loop below 3000 RPM

    Nah, it's just a scam - it passes all the signals straight thru. I'll design you something that does more exciting things with the LED if you like. Or even 2 LEDs! Cost a fair bit more for that sort of functionality though! Heck, for a couple of hundred dollars I'll give you 3 LEDs using the incredible ATTiny1617 single-chip processor running at an amazing 20MHz!!! Can't say fairer than that.

    Would it be cheaper if I supplied my own leds Dave? Does tint make a difference?

    Only if you've got those special LEDs that are good for a 10bhp boost Mr Moose!
    Not sure about tint though - might only boost the kW output and not the old-fashiond bhp.

    Do I have to worry? She seems to run fine. Doesnt make any noise, other than the ones she is supposed to make...

    Dowel pins? Did someone take an engine cover off, eg clutch cover, and drop them inside?

    The side cover dowel pins are larger and hollow.
    Maybe from the selector drum on the clutch side?

    Have you owned the bike from new? Done all the work yourself?

    They don't look smooth enough to be bearing rollers? Anyway, if they were I reckon you'd have more symptoms.

    The link is for the TE630 workshop manual. Its pretty much the same engine as the Superdual. Page F26 shows the end of the shift drum with a dowel in it.
    I'd be pulling the clutch cover off and inspecting everything in there. Maybe other parts floating around.
    Be careful putting the clutch cover back on. If the cover is placed mating surface down the oil pump shaft may drop down. If its not aligned correctly and in the wrong position it will damage the cover and or the end of the crank when reinstalled.
    I align the drive dog in the pump and the crank slot with the dowel in the engine cover.

    Its a 2018 Model that i bought in feb. this year with 600km in the clock.
    They told me, that all factory recalls have been done.

    I did the 5000km Service on it yesterday. So first time working on it. I Had the clutch Cover off (because i checked the Mesh Filter) and i couldn't find anything suspicious in there.

    Just found it odd to find that piece in there and I thought you guys might find that interesting too.
    Tomorrow i'll Go for a good ride and See how the SD is doing with the fresh oil and the checked valves. If she blows Up, i'll let you know ;)

    Did you remove the clutch cover before finding the metal things?

    If so, I would probably remove it again and recheck, including the two cover dowels in place. They fall out easily.
    Mrsdnf is probably right that they are something else, but a misaligned cover would not be good.

    Removing the clutch cover was the last thing I did before i filled it back up with oil. I found that pin before. I'll see...

    edit: so I just rode arround 35km and after the engine was warmed up I reved it good :D

    WARNING.
    Last ride I had the bike had difficulty changing down gears nearing home.
    I've just stripped the bike down and found a clutch hub damper spring end washer has gone.
    The result of this is damage to the transmission, piston and bore scored, crankshaft toast (bigend) etc etc.
    I was told by my dealer that this issue had been fixed from the TE630 days. He clearly did not know it had not been.
    My bike has done 25,000 Km.
    Needless to say I will be taking this up with the dealer even though the bike is out of warranty.
    You can see where the missing washer should be on the right hand side of the spring. A few other washers showed considerable wear.

    Out of interest, does yours have a cush drive on the rear wheel?
