    Hello, everybody.
Let me introduce myself. I'm reading advrider for many years, but could logging in only now.
I'm a W650 owner for the 3 seasons. I've bought it 20 years old with 22000 on speedometer, now it's 59000. Commuting ridind, long-term ridings.
I will post more photos further.
W650 is my third bike, and first japanese bike. So I have nothing to compare with.
Obvious, W650 are not suitable for the long-term riding. I did 700 kilometers a day this season, and 900 kilometers a day last season.
    This season I made a 5000 kilometers long-term ride.
I want to "grow" and would own a harley touring road king, on evo preferable or TC88, what is little bit cheaper and newer, and more powerful.
This season I've installed on the W 50/50 adventure tires, what encrase it's capabilities.

    You are welcome!
I wrote two reports about my last rides, certainly in russian. Would they be interested to be published here, translated into english?

Of course they’d be welcome. Better places would be either the epic rides area, or the section for shorter rides. They would be seen by many more people in those areas.
But we’d love a link to them!

Elbrus, the top of Russia, and Europe (geographicaly), over 5500 meters. The edge of snow and ice 4000 m.
There is a road in Russia from a resort city to the mountains waterfall and warm sourses, with very good pavement, easy to access at any vehicle.
But the contras this place is very populated. I think like everythere in this world

Those are great! Thanks for posting the links to your reports! I'm looking forward to spending some time with them. I can't read the Russian, though - I wonder what google will do with the translation? That's usually good for a laugh... :D

    Thanks Traveller

I live in Australia so I am always in awe of photos such as yours.
    For comparison:

"Australia is the lowest continent in the world with an average elevation of only 330 metres. The highest points on the other continents are all more than twice the height of Australia's highest peak, Mount Kosciuszko which is 2228 metres above sea level."

    Cheers

chopper style handle bar try outs
[IMG]comfortable only at relax riding, not agressive f.e. in the city trafic, were replaced into more scrambler matching style.
The heigth 17 cm, the limit what allowed stock throtlle and clutch wires for the hight handlebar.
And while installing rearwieu mirrors, like in the picture, it causes wobbling at speed over 130 km/h

Those days, I think 2013, when I was young, when everyone were young, when only started cafe racer movement in Russia, Moscow completely changed from those days I could say. Please apologize me for my grumbling, I can't keep silence

I had managed to find him on social media a few years back... Exchanged a few words on the filming of this video. Interesting guy (whose name I also forgot!)
