Yeah, fuggin' endless mudholes! Fawk that shit!:rofl

There is quicksand out there d00d, and I have seen some of the gray slop up here too. Makes a dirt bike feel like it is tethered in place. That black shit is slick too, and nasty, but the gray stuff is like cement and glue.

I’ve finally left Flatistan and the even greater hell know as Broward County.

After 3yrs of living there, I have to agree with beaterktm.

    South Florida is pure hell.

    Avoid it at all costs.

Florida isn't all that bad, it is just that most of the southern half blows ass....:y0!

I live in Fort lauderdale, and I seldom go out on my GSA; can't take the heat and humidity. Going to sell my R1200GSA one of these days, as it just sits in my garage looking pretty. :lol3 Last weekend went to Cafe 27 just to get a ride in, but that's it.

Isn’t that a Harley hangout now? I used to go to Everglades Holiday Park back in the day.. That has kind of died off a bit for motorcycles...

I really don't know how the guys wear ANY gear around town. I so much as put a glove on my hand and my my balls are already swimming in a puddle...I do wear a full-face helmet, and even with the vents open it's unbearable to close the visor without suffocating.

That being said, if you ride during the early morning from like 6-9am, even in the summer, it's really not bad at all.

I go full (vented) gear as skin grafts would really suck. Yeah it's hot, but a Camelbak goes a long way. Like you said; go early and you're fine. YMMV

It's a mix but since HD sells the most bikes in the USA, that mix leans HD. Fortunately most of the Harley dudes are welcoming unlike much of a certain jumpsuit wearing Touratech purchasing crowd. :D

I run full gear and just sweat it out. Way less of a pain in the ass than picking gravel out of your palms and elbows. :nod

:photog That would only apply to posers though. True motorcyclists don't care what anyone rides IMHO... There are always going to be haters on all sides...:bluduh

Homestead?!?? :scratch We are looking to move way north of Orlando. Getting a house is the easy part, a warehouse/office set-up nearby is a quest somehow..
