Work and kids. I'd rather be in NC.
I hear you. FL is not a bad state to live in, when you can get away from the crazy busy cities. The area we're in now has changed too much to be likable any longer just like Pembroke Pines..
Too many people, too much selfish stupidity and too expensive. Stupidity is a worldwide phenom so that isn't unique , but the crowds have gotten too much...
Same in the Keys btw. I could no longer live there either even if I had millions.
Most of my friends moved out, specially after Irma which gave them the extra incentive to leave. Only a few holdouts remain but they don't know for how long either.
Yes, but there are occasional non-Harley bikes too. :)
Teentynine Palms, CA.
Only going to be here for a year though...onward to Charlotte, NC for two years.
Going to get as much as I can out of the high desert as I can!

FLARider1, PM sent. Or did you receive it and just weren't interested? No offense taken if you just weren't interested.
Dude I am sorry. Had some life events at end of September and I have not been on here at all
Video of Jane's Scenic trail, if anyone is interested. Its in Collier county North of Tamiami Trail (41). If you go, bring water.
Completely understandable; no offense was taken.
Looks like they reopened the west end of Jane's into the squares?
The video was uploaded May 2017. How long ago didn’t they close it?
We haphazardly wandered into the squares from the east via Janes. We have not been back since so I don't know if the west entrance is open now or not. Sure glad it was when we were there. The squares are ripe with sugar sand and it's miserable.
I was there in September and it was closed. I can confirm that Jane's is permanently closed at the west gate now. A real bummer because it's a fun place to explore and the sandy trails there are a blast .
Still open if you come in from Naples.
