Heading down to kissimmee to pick up another aprilia scarabeo 500, 2009. Original tires! 5000 miles, totally dry rotted and cracked. Will take truck to get it. Looks like the beverly 350 will be sold as soon as i get the scarab on the road. Love these aprilias!

Don't move to fast on selling the 350, unless you already have a 500 and love it. I've read some regrets after getting rid of the smaller scooter, because the 500 is really a large, heavy machine.

If it's a 2009, it can only be an ie.

Big Aprilia fan myself. That must be the one I posted in the scooter for sale section for $1800? The ad pops up in other places like NYC so I was wondering if it was legit. The IE is a fun bike and I think you'll like it. Took me some time to get used to it but mine had been abused in the city. I sold my BV350 without riding it much just before buying the Beo but I mostly got rid of it because I could make some money on it, not because I didn't like it. The Beo is a fast bike and I'm really starting to love it. Looking forward to your reviews once you have it.

This is the one I'm guessing...

Aprilia scarabeo 500ie light. Yes we have two now, they are much better scoots than the bv 350. Handle better, stop better, faster, are more comfortable and look better! Bv 350 is non abs scoot. We now hav e a 2007 and a 2009 scarabeo. We are in florida.

I saw that one for sale. I have a friend who swears the beo is one of the best bikes of any kind that he’s owned. Hope you enjoy it!

It needs tires, the originals are still on the bike and are cracked. Starts and runs well, throttle is stiff, needs cables lubed. has sratches on keft side from tipover, nothing that i will not add to myself. Will do oil change and tires as soon as i get title transfer and plates done. Only have half of the windshield, no big deal, new seat cover and battery. Ready to go on this as soon as i get the tires done! ..

I have both sections plus the mounting hardware I think.

I've had 3 Beos now and I swear by them. The 150, 250 and now the 500. Best scoots out there I think.

Let me know if you want it. It's just sitting in a closet and I'll never use it.

I may have a whole windshield and possibly a new in box Givi for the Scarabeo 500 still in Houston. I'll have my son check when he gets back to the house. You can have the OEM two piece windshield if it is still there for the cost of shipping it to you. Thanks to Harvey I no longer have a Scarabeo 500 but it is my favorite touring PTW of all time. Most comfortable seat, good handling and brakes. It handles like something smaller than it is while comfort is like something bigger than it is.

ride4321, so you are coming around to my POV re the Scarabeo 500. ;)

Yes I am. I'm still not thrilled with the suspension but it's better than is was. The bike is a hoot to ride.
Hey, I thought I had dibs on that Givi.:( Actually, I'm good with the stock screen. The Givi would be nice for winter riding but this is my last winter so I really don't need it.

I'll have my son check if there's still a Givi for the Scarabeo. It is the mid screen which I like. I had a shower door at one point. Dean quiet behind that thing but boy is it big.
