Ok - Not much response for a New Years Day Ride, so how about New Years Eve Day Ride? Supposed to be sunny in the 40's. We can start in Grayslake or Crystal Lake. We can probably rig something up so Skinner can make it.

We had a very good turnout at Little Johns and out to Wave Cafe in Harvard, IL for some warm/cold coffee drinks.

For those of you that don't know about Wave Cafe, it is owned by Pat M., who is a partner/owner of the Suzuki Dealer across the street and it is cycle oriented. A very cool little spot!

Happy new year to all of the Chaingolians and all the adventure riders out there.

Thats cool that you guys are still riding down there. Its awesome that we can get out at this time of year, we should be under a ton of snow. I actually took my bike out for a ride up here in WI on New Years Eve day, got alot of strange looks from people! Thats half the fun though.

As Lip notes above the Wave Cafe in Havard is awesome. It is a "Motorcycle Cafe". They serve coffees, Teas, muffins and sandwiches. It is owned by the Suzuki dealer across Route 14. They also have a 4 acre dirt riding track out back for the dual sporter. He also allows quads out on the track. We went there both Friday and Sunday. From McHenry it is an easy 30 minute ride north and west on some nice country roads.
