those road trains, you could have a career in tire replacement, just one.
You need a flask, then just ask for some ice to pour the good stuff over. Likely get charged a crazy amount for a few ice cubes, but sounds like it'd be worth it...lol.
That shot of your bike with the black smoke from the fire in the background - kinda spooky man. I've seen the coverage of how bad the fires are in AUS this year, sad to see. Glad you were able to find a good place to rest for the night, 585k is a long arse day in the saddle @Aaron.S
Keep the knobby side down man
I can't believe I'm writing this post. The unthinkable just happened. I woke up this morning to my bike missing. Stolen out of Ayres rock campground around 3am. A camper next to me saw someone pushing it away thinking it was me. 2015 KTM500exc Vin VBKEXA401FM493995. Heartbroken isn't even close to how I'm feeling.
Oh no, what a fuuuuuk !!!
I realy hope that You get it back and that someone catch this ashole and kick his balls up to his head.
NOOOOOOOOO. That is the absolute pits.
need to get a thread in the OZ regional forums.?
Yeah somebody needs to find this asshole !!!
thread in OZ forum started
big thread going on Facebook regarding the theft and many have shared the issue to their friends in that area of the country in an attempt to help Aaron.
This is BS!,,
What’s the Facebook page?
I have no problem slinging him a couple of bucks?
Aaron.. hope you don't mind me sharing this
Unfortunately the locals in these areas live in a semi lawless society, even if he is caught, minimal punishment will result.
The previous nights accomodation was in a fully secure enclosure because of exactly this reason.
I think they will get it back minus his gear but it might take some time.
Aaron, get the word out as much as you can. Everywhere.
We had some (not me) bikes stolen numerous times in town with most of them being recovered. Mostly found by owners/the public. Get the word spreading. Dont stop. Pubs, post office, news agency, posters in supermarkets, bike shops, everywhere. The cops dont do much more than making a report.
Sorry to hear mate. Heart wrenching!
I can't believe after all those miles and places...and now this. So sorry to read this.

A large discussion is up and running there already, but I know not everyone here has Facebook. It's a public post, so it should be viewable to everyone, even if you don't have a Facebook account. One big piece of info is that a helicopter is out searching for the bike as of about an hour ago. Given the volume of traffic on the Facebook post, I'd imagine updates will be posted there first.
If anyone here learns any independent info, I'm sure it would be helpful to share here. Even for those of us across the world, the least we can do is share information as we learn it. Let's help our man get his bike back.
