Thank you for that, I have a folder full of unused currency, Japanese Yen, Indian Rupee, Morocco Dinar and Euro as well as other stuff, I will have to get the iron out and make sure it is clean and nice before I go abroad again!

Hi Arron, I had to finish your entire RR before posting (it has kept me sane while in lock down here in the UK) I just wanted to say congratulations on your epic journey and thank you for taking us all with you, many of us will perhaps never have the opportunity to do this and so we 'live the dream' through your adventures, I have a huge respect for your achievement and have thoroughly enjoyed your writing style and fabulous photographs.
I do have one question - what do you do for a living? You should consider a career in writing /photography.
Once again, thanks for all the thrills, spills and entertainment of your journey.

    I really appreciate the feedback.
Lately I've been sitting on a 28 ton excavator, fishing a heap and working out what the next chapter in life will hold for me. I do have another article coming out in Traverse this month and they want one written about when my bike got stolen in Aussie. Not a money maker but hey it makes a chapter in a book if that ever happened.

Hey, whoa there fella, no way are you EVER going to be a 'has been' - you are a bona fide 'been there, done that bought a lifetimes supply of t-shirts!'

You have cred on ADV rider!

That was said to me by Mike Shirley when we finished the Rally Mongolia, obviously we instead of you originally. It made me laugh.

Aaron, caught up on the report. definitely wild ride from start to finish.
You Know that taking a KTM 500exc for your ride is second to the ride itself.
The days of someone claiming the bike needs an overhaul between gas pumps is over.
Just need to find that 15k rear tire and get their sponsorship Also.
with things slowed to a crawl makes for a better time for this read.

One of my friends cycled 11,000km around NZ. It was years ago. I couldn't afford to go. Now I can afford to go, but lockdown-I'll go someday. I listen to your podcast=very good and interesting, especially the bike being stolen. I would be heartbroken, still, was a good approach you took with the walkabout and the local people. Good luck. I also like the minimalist approach. Very sensible. I hate loads of stuff on a bike (or in house), more to worry about...
