I do get alot of people asking about my butt. Seat concepts helps but yup I know I have a seat under my arse. 690 would of been the perfect smart choice but for me it kinda defeated the purpose a little.

Awesome work man, I did some of chile and arg a couple years ago on hired KLR 650s and they didnt like the offroad abuse. Would have killed for a 500exc those days. Enjoy your time.

Without head wind 360 maybe 400 but one day the fuel light came on around the 290 as I was getting on it a little with head wind.

I live in oregon, I will take you to dinner when you get to portland. I have kiwi friends here too that will come along.

I envy your trip. I am saving every dollar i have to take a few months off and do a ride like this, but down to argentina through the darien gap.

Today I headed to Quito the Capital of Ecuador but did a detour to check out Chimborazo. The unique thing about this mountain because of the buldge in the earth's surface it's summit is the furthest point on earth from its center . 6310m 20702ft. It doesn't look that big in the picture but I am at 4200m taking the picture.

I have a KTM 500 EXC and I think it's just amazing you are doing this on that bike. Keep up the updates. I am very curious to see how your trip goes. Cheers from Canada.
