I will PM my number to you and rider. Give me a call and we can arrange to meet.
Ok so me and rustl will be meeting at the shell station at wallsend at 8.00am Sunday. From there we will meet Rider at jerry,s plains BP at around 9.45am. All welcome to join us.
A great ride was had by myself, GSMick and Rustl. A run down Commission Rd then across Finchley Trig. I will do a RR later in the week.
GSMick, are you going to post a few vids?
Looking forward to the next ride.
You guys weren't on 3 F800GS's were you? We pulled into Jerrys Plains servo for the obligatory deep fried whatever after a weekend hunting trip and I saw three BMs looking like they were headed somewhere . Interested to see the ride report.
About 10 am? it was probably us.
Excellent day out in every way, looking forward to more.
that would have been us. Left Jerrys Plains at 10:00 and ended up at Wollombi about 4:30ish.
I will make time to write up RR on wednesday night.
Thanks for a great ride rustl and rider. Can't wait for the next ride. Hopefully we can get a couple more riders to go next time.
I'm definitely up for a ride, just need for my roster to be favourable
Anyone going down to the TTT from Newcastle region on Saturday morning?
Had my last outing until late September so no TTT but BWPS ( Bayswater Power Station ) for the next 5 weeks.
was out on the hunter that weekend, campaigning the old warhorse kle500.. actually rode to the comm rd gate to check it out, do you really need to find the landowner to ride thru?
funny enough was at the other end of comm rd just yesterday while hooning around the putty / wollombi / wisemans / central coast in general, good riding, but a tad fresh :)
I did the same thing a couple of years ago. Rode to the gate to check it out etc. Spoke to a couple of locals and they told me the landholder tries to lock it at times. It is a legal easement to the HV lines so no permission required. I also checked with NPWS Bulga and they told me the same thing. I would advise staying to the track and motoring t a steady pace until you reach the NPWS sign.
As always, a registered bike is required along with a relevant licence. I guess if unregistered riders cause complaint then the road could be locked.
Cheers that's top news :)

Planning a run from Karuah ( ish ) to Gingers Creek on the Oxley shortly. I will try to put together something interesting through Wallaroo and Wank Wauk to Gloucester and on to Gingers through Enfield then returning via Knodingbul.
If interested let me know and I will try to work out details for fuel accommodation etc.
Will suit all bikes and skill levels.
Interested for sure but when?

Not sure of dates but I get a bit of a lull on the work front at the end of this month. Failing that I am looking at mid November.
Another time for me then aye. I'm working the 2nd last weekend and have a wedding to attend for the last weekend of September.:
I'm off to Lightning Ridge at the end of this month, but if it is in November you can pencil me in.
Im keen. Are you any closer figuring out on a date yet?
Probably later in November. I think the motorcycle show is on the 15th Nov so definitely not that weekend.
I have started mapping out an interesting route and am waiting for a bit of inside info on some tracks around Dungog. I want to do a few exploration runs before the long weekend. Will have to see how work pans out.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. My loose plans is to wind to Dungog then on to Gloucester for lunch. I am looking at heading to Bundook then on to Nowendoc for later in the day. From there it would be on to Gingers via Mummel and Enfield forest road.
