Plenty of options thru Chichester forest and Berrico to Gloucester.

It will be a big day. You'll enjoy Enfield forest rd

    Cheers

Did a lot of riding off Enfield a few years back. Some fantastic tracks on 450's through Dick's Hut and the Cells. Not sure if I am game to punt a bigger bike through there yet!

I have done the length of Mummel FT , Enfield range Rd , Cells River rd and others I cant remember the names of in that area on my 950 , fully loaded for a weekends camping , a few years ago now though( at different times ) . Stay away from Dicks hut on big bikes , the ground is too soft , the first one , maybe two bikes might get through OK , but subsequent bikes will have trouble with the boggy bits . If you then have to turn around and come back through the same boggy bits it will be hell !

Riamukka SF has some great riding up in that area too !

Dicks Hut ( and Cooplacurripa ) was always interesting as I was always the last through ( joys of a sweep rider!! )

I think this time I will look to something more gentle but I would like to do the Cells and Daisy Patch again sometime. Another fantastic bit of track? is the old Oxley Highway from the bottom of the hill below Mt Seaview back up to Knodingul.

I will be looking to do a bit of camping at Maxwell's Flat next year and exploring a few of the trails again.

    OK ,
think I have day one worked out. 350km Raymond Terrace to Gingers Creek. About 75% dirt roads that aren't too challenging.:clap

I will be contacting Gingers re accommodation, fuel, :freaky, etc.

Now to work out the return.

Toms creek rd is worth a look then thru Combyne to Wingham back to Bunyah, bit of sealed rd toward the end. Or cut back across to Knodingbul and down Tallowood to Capara, Back flat rd to Tiri ?

From Bundook head down Bakers ck rd, right then left into Titaatee then onto Tipperary, head down Bunyah rd then onto Manning Hill rd to Wang Wauk.

I'm heading from Raymond Terrace, Dungog to Seal Rocks for a ride this Sunday

Great minds think alike! :clap. That is the exact route I have planned. I have a bit of land at Tipperrary so know the area quite well. There are some great loops in the forest for smaller bikes but Wang Wauk forest way is a nice easy ride.

Enjoy your ride. Which way are you heading from Dungog? Are you going via Booral to Bulahdelah or have you a better route planned?

The first bit of Monkerai rd, then there's a series of fire trails that run off that on the right. Then along Moores rd to and up Cherry tree to Berrico rd. left then right into Upper Avon rd follow that to the Buckets way. Right head to Craven, left at Glenn Rd thru the Glenn Nature Reserve to Waulkivory rd. then Manning hill rd to Smedleys rd thru Wang Wauk to Wootton then on thru the Bachalor forest to Seal Rocks. :clap

You might know the answer then being part local :). Whats the story with the plane up,in the tree line near the big solar panels ?

Think I have a reasonable route worked out. About 350km from Raymond Terrace to Gingers and a bit shorter for the return leg. Can't miss the Sydney bike show so am thinking 22nd November.

Screening of the CBV Dream Racer at the Mattara? Is that official? If so, I'll be there. I've only seen screening times at Sydney.

    Hey Goldey,

Na, just pre-drinks and feed at the Mattara. The movie is actually on at the Charlestown Hoyts. Check out this site...

Go to the bottom RH part of that page and it has a ticket sales link.
