Three of us recently rode the CABDR-S and it was pretty amazing! We're sharing video of our trip over on YouTube if you'd like to follow along, here's a link! Feel free to subscribe to my channel if you want to see more of our trip! Much appreciated!

Just saw your sticker @ Teakettle Junction Monday! We were riding loop from Bishop out Steele Pass to the Springs then Lippencott to Hunter back out to Olancha.

Nathan, great stuff. Having completed the California BDR April 12-18th, it was great to relive it via your lens.

I wonder how much fun sec 7 alternate is right now, satellite only shows snow coverage on a small spot....thinking about convincing the wife I need to go to Lone Pine for therapy and run the alternate north and the main south for a day trip.

I was there last weekend. Sec 7 is easy, but 7 Alternate is totally impassible on a one wheel drive bike from about 8 miles up into Wyman Cyn.

Did you try Mazourka Canyon too? I’m thinking it should be clear from Reward mine back to Hwy 168 and Big Pine.

Hey SoCal! Showing the CABDR-South film again, this time at Dainese June 20th.

If you want to see KTM's new 790 Adventure R we will have one at the event. Great raffle happening too.

Mazourka is clear... kinda. Near the end on Pine Road Some people put a sign up saying road is blocked, I rode down to check it out.

This guy is a champion for making it up that far.

I was able to BARELY squeeze my 690 around it with a little muscle, not sure if theres an alt for that.

Gonna go check out Wyman and see how it looks after lunch

What the Hell was he doing up there!?? What was the supposed closure? Is all the snow gone?
    So many questions!
    Thanks

Looks like supplies for an exploratory drill rig or construction materials for the towers. They will road a Cat down and jerk him out. Of course there is always the possibility some crankster took a joy ride in a semi!

He had cement blocks or something loaded, was too busy huffing to pull the bike past the rear tire to look. Its TIGHT at the very back. I should have taken pictures of the back+ the trail immediately behind him.....its very impressive he made it that far. Theres even a Goler Step-ish rock he made it over.

Whole alt route is clear except for that truck. Got pretty wet going up Wyman, silver kicked my butt with a little help from my spaztastic ABS. Some snow on the mountain, none on the road. Lots of creek crossings.

Rode the Alt up and the main down, in lone pine having a beer. I'm tired lol

*edit* the trail was blocked by sticks and a paper that said "road blocked!" At a junction on top of the last hill before coming down. I went around the sign and down the hill to find the blockage....was not expecting a semi. I'll check my map and see if I can find the exact spot

Hey Ron - will there be any BDR reveals (like a film premiere) at the Long Beach IMS show this November?

Ok, so I will see if we can get some sneak peak footage of the NEBDR, WYBDR and CABDR-North. Probably in the Adventure Out! Section if we do that again this fall.
Since the next documentary will be the North East BDR, I'm sure the first permiere will be back east.
