I figured you would like this one Norm.

Knowing how the BDR group likes connected multi-routes, I suspect it will start where the COBDR ends at 129 & WY 70.

Looks like your place will still be a key trailering spot...so the hooch train continues :-)

Oh this is going to be a SPECTACULAR bdr. I'm pretty sure you need a completely impartial ride-a-long for this scouting.. where's the signup sheet?

Hopefully it runs through, or starts at, Dixon. The Dixon hotel and bar across the street was sooooo welcoming to us at the end of the COBDR it was unbelievable. Made us a home cooked meal (only 3 other patrons) and sat down with us a while telling us the stories of the area. I believe the owner's name was Julie.

A Dixon start would be great. Then up the Sierra Madre north.

I will see the BDR crew this weekend in Long Beach, I'll ask if this BDR continues on from the COBDR.

I'm betting it will go thru Atlantic City and thus makes sense to start it were the COBDR ends.

No word on that either way.
It's either a continuation from COBDR or a start in the more Eastern Medicine Bows.

Since I laid down all the dirt roads on our state map I have a good sense how it will play out heading to Atlantic City and beyond.

So much good riding either way, my fav from that area to Atlantic City would bring in Adobe Town area.
Wild horses, old stage stops and nobody for miles and miles.
It will be fun to see what comes out!

Wild Bill, in Atlantic City, better get serious about stocking fuel and being there to sell it. Also, the mechantile might wanna get serious about having their A-Frame cabins ready for occupancy.
Those two items were always difficulty obtain in Atlantic City. Lander is a ways down road for fuel and running out is a possibility. Oh the stories I could tell (backed up by pictures).

One more unsolicited comment about that area.
The very best night camping off the bike I have ever spent was along the shore of Picket Lake in the Great Basin. Surreal and calming and ... just way cool.

You was camping in the definition of the "Middle of No Where" Uli! That Red Desert area is cool. Lots of cool mining history up there.

You are right on gas though. Worse than the 3 corners area! When I used to ride up to dad's cabin on the Hoback I would ride that area, I always had 2 extra gallons in the Rotopax.

No more going that way though, cabin went up in flames this summer.
    Happy Thanksgiving all!

I had about a dozen groups start the CoBDR from here last year. Just cracked open a bottle of Makers one of them left as a gift.

I like that the CoBDR ends at a stop sign. Would certainly be a nice place to start WyBDR.
