The best part of any trip is coming home! Just cancelled a month of riding in Italy.
Hi George, it was fun riding along with you. Of the three countries you visited I only am familiar with Laos. When there I am always traveling with my wife in cars, buses, mini vans or Defender 110, except once. I enjoyed your report very much and look forward to following you on your next adventure.
Jowul, Thanks for commenting Along the way. Man, Laos was a treat. Sorry to have missed the boat restaurant on the banks of Vientiane. Sounds like a reason to go back!
Love following along George! Just going to cross back into the US tomorrow or the next day. Hope they let me in!
Our adventurous son is coming home. He's a great traveler and writer. Perhaps he should be an author. We can't wait to see him face to face, he'll get his first look at the "New Me"! Thats me with my doctor, she's a chick!

Now that's an item of history I was not aware of!
Good to have you back, son. We can't wait to have a face to face meeting with you. Beware of COVID-19.
Great Ride Report. The Cambodia part reminded me or my trip to Siem Reap about 10 years ago. Got back to the hotel one rainy day and the hotel staff was outside drinking under an umbrella. They invited us to drink with them. They asked if I had met any girls and handed them the number of one I had met earlier that day, thinking I would never see her in my life. They called her up and she showed up in a tuk tuk a few minutes later. Soon it became one hell of a party. Good times.
I went to Vietnam about a year ago. Once this craziness is over I think I'll make my first trip back out there.
PS that girl kept my hat.
Yeah. Welcome to Hanoi! I recommend choosing Vietnam Motorbike Tours Club if you wanna ride with big bikes from 150cc
Glad you are back home George. Stay safe!
Great ride, report, and photos.
Vietnam high on my bucket list, so I'm all over any RR from there. This one was fantastic.
I hope you and yours stay well, and look forward to reading about the next expedition.
George - just got home myself (as I think you are aware), and I'm catching up on various ride reports. I didn't even realize you had returned. Welcome home!
Your trip report definitely has made me want to visit Vietnam and vicinity! Thanks for taking the time and effort to share.
I wish I had known about you a couple years ago!!!
Let's not forget your lads were also in Vietnam from '64 to '72.
