I emailed their Rep here in the U.S. and then I saw him at the Long Beach Show. I was told not till 2016. I would wait until they hit the shelves on fcmoto or some other european site and buy then.

I Sent them a message on Facebook to NEXX USA and here is what I got back today 12/2.

NEXX-USA Yes the XD.1 will be brought to the US for 2015. There is no specific date yet when it will arrive, but it is in the process of receiving DOT certification.

A UK dealer told me 3-4 days he can get the stock and want me to send money over. Sounds a bit dodgy... no way

I just saw a picture of a Spanish guy on Facebook who's got one in white/red/blue (GS colors) so they do appear to be coming out.

My local dealer (across the border in The Netherlands) told me "end of December" so that's anytime now.
Could well be the UK dealer is expecting some really soon.
Which dealer are you referring to?

They are UK custom cruisers and they have revised their pricing from £269 to £299 on par with the msrp a day after I emailed them:cry

Bummer. You can still get the plain one for that price, right?

Too bad the Touratech Aventuro doesn't come in those colors.
It's basically the same helmet, also produced by Nexx but without the internal sun visor. Apparently the mechanism gets clogged up with dust when riding in the dirt and that's why Touratech left it out.
The big difference however is that the Aventuro is full carbon and another 200gr lighter, weighing in at no more than 1200gr!!!
    Price is €466 / £366 / $571.

So it's €70-100 more expensive, doesn't have the sun visor (do you really need it with the peak?) nor the cool color scheme but it is significantly lighter.

Just looked up that MX9 Adventure.
No internal sun visor but half the price of the Nexx (for you guys in the USA anyways).

I agree, I think the sun visor is a big deal for some...and then the price of each. So, if I can try on each one, then see if it's worth the difference in price, then buy one.
Of course, trying on a Nexx is going to be the challenge, not too many retailers around in the US.
    Oh well...

I bought a Schuberth S2 last spring - it's got an internal sun visor and that was one of the reasons why I bought it as I don't like wearing glasses when riding. I absolutely love the internal shade but it's not my dual sport helmet. I want this Nexx and I'm in Ontario, Canada so I don't need DOT, Euro CE rating is accepted and legal here.
