Was looking for information on this lid before purchasing it and this was just about the only place I could find. Figured I'd post up.

Was initially interested in the Touratch when I saw it at INTERMOT, then I stumbled on the NEXX booth it EICMA and after some back and forth with the rep he confessed that they are making the TT version. Thought I'd save myself hundreds while adding some features as well. Also picked up the XCom.

Have not ridden with it yet, German winter is miserable. Initial impression is it's a decent lid, pretty lightweight (noticeably heavier than my X-Lite ultra CF). Fits snug, on and off are a bit of a hassle. Despite the description it came with a pinlock, however the first one they ordered for me (wrong color) did not. XCom installation was massive pain in the ass but I eventually got it in there. It adds noticeable weight.

If you've got questions let me know, can post up better pics as well, but it may be a while before I get some non living room time with it.

How difficult is it to remove the shield to use goggles?

Really easy. The black tabs on the visor rotate 45 degrees "up" and pop off. Then remove the top screw and the visor comes right off, shield is held on by small clips but mostly the visor.

Hope I didn't miss your pics or your pic is not there?

How's the cushion or cheek pads?

Saw someone reviewed their xr2 cushion not as plush and not worth the money.

Dropbox glitch. Pic is back up. Can take more if want to see a specific component. Cheek pads are firm but supportive, not bad at all. Helmet fits me snugly. It also comes with some additional "Ergo" pads if you need them.

I had to order it (them), none in stock at the local store as of yesterday.

Speaking of spare parts, it also comes with both top and side mount action cam mounts, a helmet bag, shield bag, pinlock, and visor add-on extension.

That's a shame as I wanted to try one on before actually buying.
I've never had a Nexx on my head so I'm not sure if the shape will fit my potato head nor am I sure on the size...

Louis will send it back no charge if it doesn't fit. Pretty risk free really.

The Nexx distributor here in Bangkok has told me he hopes to have them in the shop by the middle of February.

The plain version will retail for $400 USD.

Can you describe the internal head shape on this helmet, round or oval? What helmets do you normally fit in best?:ear

Have you ever had a Schüberth C3 on your noggin for instance? And if so, how does the fit/shape compare?

I'd call it oval. Previous lids have been high end Shoei and my current X-Lite Ultra CF. Have not had much luck with Arai. I've got a pretty average M and the Nexx is snug but not tight.
