Talk like this has no place in a Lions thread. :brow

After this draft, looking for the Lions to go all the way - to another mediocre heart breaking season in 2018 for their faithful fans.

At least they have their past Super Bowl victories to reminisce about.

The Lions last won the championship game in 1957.
I was 9. Not on TV.
Maybe they will be good, past records say no.
The Super Bowl was in 1967 when Green Bay won.

Isn't it about time for one of their star players to either get hurt and out for the season or get in legal trouble and go to jail? Again.

I'm just replying because I'm a Lions fan.
    Do you remember Wayne Walker?

Vaguely. I remember him more as an announcer for the team. I used to enjoy watching the team, but after way too many promises of greatness broken, I put them on ignore. I also loved watching the Red Wings for nearly 40 years from the mid-60s on and loved it when they finally made something of themselves. Last decade or so, I can't stand any pro sports due to the massive egos and overblown showmanship of same.

My son took me to a Lions game last year and I was just bored to tears by the poor play on the field.

I read today that veterans are upset about the extra-demanding practices and new rules that the head coach instituted.

    Rumbles of discontent.

Others will say that he needs to clean house, get rid of the bad culture at the club

The NBA should adopt the Lions as a practice team for the Pistons to use as backups cuz they sure can’t play football.

I'd just like to thank the Lions for getting the Pats one loss closer to missing the playoffs.

The most Lionsy season ever so far:

Lose to a rookie at home on MNF when you get spotted 7pts to start the game.

    Beat Tom Brady.

The Lions are nothing of not inconsistent.

Yup, same old same old. Win the improbable and lose everything else.

I had no idea Green Bay was this mediocre. Three missed field goals!
The Lions actually look good. Like the team that beat the Patriots. Could they actually have a good team this year? Or are they pod people?

Lifetime Lion fan here since Wayne Walker was the field goal kicker and linebacker. #55 when I started watching them.

When The Packers kicked that FG with under a minute remaining today I envisioned Rogers throwing another Hail Mary pass and then getting the 2 point conversion after they recovered the onside kick.
I felt like Neil Armstrong probably did while landing the Eagle.
That's how us Lions fans feel every close game.
If it can go wrong it will, or the Refs will dig out some obscure rule to beat us.
