Definitely keep me in the know for when y'all do some rides. I'm based in Burlington and have been itching to do Bayley Hazen and the PDR. There is also the natural turnpike which goes through Ripton and one can grab the Lincoln/Hancock gap from there. I'm riding an 1100gs, so ill be in the big bike crowd.

Will do Steadfast. I rode the turnpike last year and went through Ripton after camping nearby. Great ride![IMG]

Have you run TKC’s before? While somewhat confidence inspiring in dirt, the road noise on pavement made me want to shoot the bike off a bridge. Just my ignorant opinion......... different tire size on the water cooled GS might change the harmonics? I’d love to know.

Running a tkc80 up front in 120/70/19 and it's nowhere near as loud as the karoo was. Don't get me wrong, it's noisy, but it's more of a "mud tire on a jeep" loud, whereas the karoo was "howl like a dog in heat" loud.

This is for those who are interested in meeting up at the Flying Googe this Sunday to discuss upcoming rides. When we picked 4PM it did not occur to me that the Super Bowl was that evening. Any objections to meeting at 3PM instead? The first pitcher is still on me!

3Pm works. I'm very disconnected from the outside world by design. Today was the first time an article about 'the big game' came across my RSS feed reader and it's definitely a testament of the kind of weird blogs I read:

This year’s Super Bowl between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New England Patriots will not take place before Sunday, February 4th at 6:30 pm ET or after ~10:15 pm ET that same day. So, if you’d like to not watch the Super Bowl or Justin Timberlake’s halftime musical performance live from Minneapolis, Minnesota, just don’t turn on NBC or the NBC Sports Live stream between 6:30 and 10:15 that evening.

I follow some great blogs and none are about sports. My GF even texted me last week to let me know who was playing in the big game because, "people will talk about it and you need to not look like an idiot when you ask who's playing." So I have no plans Sunday night but 3PM is still fine.

    There's also this:
