Nothing interesting happens in OT other than the winning goal, which you miss taking a piss or whatever.

They should have shown the other game, which ended already anyway. :fpalm

With all do respect, I gotta disagree. I want overtime, everytime and I love to watch it. Also I believe both the regular season and the playoff version in the NHL are the best versions of overtime in any sport.
With the caveat that I know the players dislike the shootout (as it's not hockey) and aren't in love with the 3 on 3, but I LOVE watching it.

The only storyline is 'this team scored'. I don't need to see that live unless it's an elimination game.

The Dallas / Calgary game, from the highlights, was a great tilt with some momentum shifts and really set up the rest of the series. I missed it because I watched columbus dump the puck in for three fucking hours straight.

Granted, I watched Jacque Lemaire coached wild teams for a decade so the neutral zone trap gives me half a chub but still that was miserable as a fan.

    How time flies.
Big game tonight for my Flyers, Montreal is playing like a team possessed.
They beat the crap outta them last game. I guess we'll see how good their new coach really is?

Anyone care to predict the final score? :D

Dominant 3rd for the Bs last night. 17-2 shots on goal in the 3rd. That hit by McAvoy on Staal turned the tables. Close em out on Wednesday boys.

Not the biggest fan of the game, especially with the Oilers out. There's quite a buzz in town though with this being the western hub bubble. The Vegas Golden Knights delivered a truck load of pizza to a homeless shelter. Evidently another team is supposed to up the anti.

It did for the 1989 Flames. (Of course that was 31 years ago with a whole different style of game ... and Lanny McDonald.)

I really like what I see from the avalanche. I can't cheer for a western team , so I was rooting for the Canes.

    Now I'm liking the Islanders.

I don't think anybody can touch the Avs this year, if their goaltending holds up

Rough post season for me. My 3 faves were out in a hurry...Rangers, Caps and Jackets. Now I have to figure who to root for. I guess I'm a Bruins, Avs or Knights fan for the time being:D

My bet is the Flyers take the east.

    And I hate the Flyers.

+1. Even without their #1 goalie. (but hopefully with Pasternak!)
