I feel the same way about the Penguins and could not be happier that Crosby is playing golf in Pittsburgh right now!

    Go Flyers!

Im a life long Caps fan, they looked so terrible in the round robin I picked the Isles to beat em.

The Bruins looked like they would crash and burn at first but seem to be getting their act together. Hopefully it keeps progressing. Marchand seems to be hustling and that’s a great sign.

I thought the Avs would have looked better against Dallas, but now I could see that series going seven. Man, Vegas with several days rest made the Canucks look totally outclassed. If they win in four or five they could enjoy another few days off before the conf. final.

In the East, I'm pulling for the Islanders now that the Canes are out. My sister is a Bruins fan, so I keep up on their games.

Grubauer, Johnson and Calvert out made it a tough go for the Avs. Haven't been a Stars fan since Hull was in the crease.

Even though I bleed Rangers blue and it kills me to support the Fish Sticks, I'd like to see the Isles in the Final simply for the way that the Caps dealt with Trotz.

That decision was a wrap before they won the cup....

    Quoting myself here.:bash

Changing my pick to Bruins/Vegas final. Just heard (unofficially) that Stamkos is done for the playoffs.

Bold move with the way the Bruins are playing.... I think you should stick with that first prediction lol.

Correct you are. I changed my pick after game 1 and the real Bruins showed up after that. If Halak could stop a beach ball they might have a chance.

Have the Bruins come back from a deficit like this before? I agree Halak will have to stand on his head for three straight games for it to happen. They may also have to take some ice back and not play so deep. They are getting killed from those pop outs to the keys. It will be known soon enough.

Having their number one goalie would have helped.

I got into this with some folks on Twitter. The refs are terrified to call a penalty and the players are tired so it's really shitty hockey. Eventually somebody falls down or the puck bounces in off somebody's butt. It's almost always uninteresting - you'll note that I did make an exception for elimination games, at least. :lol3

    That post didn't age well
Claim to non-fame alert. I was on a business call finalizing a deal with I asked if by any chance, her father was Denis Potvin of 80's Islanders fame.
I'm a degenerate that bets and wants to finish watching, I'm not messing with a mod who gets into this on Twitter. :permazot :lol3

I must have jinxed this. Time to mix a drink. :1drink

Avs starting their third and fourth string goalies, so that game is either going to be a blowout for the Stars, or the Avs will pull it together for their rookie goalie and eke out a win.
