Bruins have never even forced a game 7 when down 3-1. They usually fold their tents and head home. At least they put up a fight last night. That was probably Krug's last game as a Bruin, and possibly Chara's also.

One could reasonably conclude that I have no idea what the fuck is going on.

Islanders down 3-1 in the 3rd and score 2 in the last 4 minutes to tie it up and force OT......wow.

I was ready to trade no. 11 for someone who's not afraid, thank God he woke up.

Keep mixing up the lines, we just might pull it off?

    Don't forget we're rated no. 1... :D

Nelson and Lee play in a summer league here, and Clutterbuck is still a favorite from his stint here. Isles for me. I think Barzal ends it.

Being a Rangers fan, I don't pay much attention to the Isles and certainly not their players. But after watching last night, I'll be keeping an eye on that Barzal kid. Damn can he play! He's got it all...excellent skater with incredible hands.

That said, as soon as the Islander on the point (don't remember who it was) broke his stick on the shot, I said to myself the Flyers are going to score on this trip down. Sure enough, they do. I've seen too many of these games where the best team that night doesn't win, and the Isles were definitely the best team on the ice last night.

Seems to me the best team won. The team with the best goalie....

Yep, the Flyers won and had the best goalie last night. But as far as the 5 skaters go, the Isles were the better team last night. Even Vigneault said so in his presser. Hey, I have no dog in this fight...all my teams are out. Just enjoying good hockey.

Takes a team. No one wins the cup without great goaltending.
For me it’s the greatest of team sports for precisely that reason. Someone gets hot and makes up for other holes.
Isles better ? Could argue that I guess , but only one Got the W.
No dog either , just stoked to be watching the puck.

I'm totally with you on that. It's one of those games were the Isles seem to be beating the Flyers to every puck and the game was in the Flyers zone easily 70% of the time, but I just felt like NY was going to lose. It's funny, during the regular season I don't like either of the teams, but now I'm just enjoying a great series. Now my only problem is that I'm heading to the back woods of West Virginia and don't know how I'm going to see game 7 Saturday:D

Fuuuuck. Colorado ran out of healthy players. I had them going to the final in my bracket. Congrats to Dallas, they did what they needed to in order to win.

I still can't get my head around something like 60 goals scored in the seven game series. I became a fan during the dead puck era, lots of 2-1 games. This series was fucking nuts.

That was an amazing save by Lehner last night. Kudos to the Canucks and some brilliant goal tending of their own with Demko in net.
