I love hockey so much that ice runs through my veins, but I'll be hard pressed to watch a Dallas/Tampa final...and I can't really explain why.

It should be a good contest, if it happens. Still some scores to be settled.

Dallas is waiting and getting healthy while the isles and bolts play a 2OT game five and will now have game six on Thursday.

I really thought the lightning would pour it on tonight and close it out.

They tried, the Isles dug deep. It was a good matchup; thought it was over with that high stick, they held tough.

Going with Tampa, but was a big fan of Khudobin when he was a Hurricane. Glad to see him getting actual ice time for the cup.

Should be a pretty fast paced series. Going to be interesting.

That was a bad call. Not a good way to give a team a PP during overtime.

I'd said earlier that I'd be bored with the Finals matchup and thankfully I was wrong. Excellent hockey played by both teams and I was glad to see the Rangers South division come away with the win. Very happy to see McDonagh raise the Cup over his head...he was a beast in the final two minutes. Basically used his body as a human shield in front of the barrage that Dallas threw at them.

Congratulations Tampa Bay Lightning! I hadn't planned on watching the Cup Finals since I hadn't watched any hockey since March, but I'm glad I did. It was good hockey and an excellent series. Well played.

Tampa brought the energy early. Will played, they were physical, hard to the puck....they earned that trophy. Well done, enjoy, it is hard to get your name on it.

The team buses pulled out of the Marriot bubble this morning to the airport. That hotel is connected to Roger's Place via an over street indoor pedway which was only accessible by players, coaches and team/league personnel. Edmonton has earned the World Jr's as a result of the NHL playoffs and zero Covid cases including the hotels, restaurant staff, etc. in the bubble.

The early word on the street had been Tampa or Boston. The Bruins faltered but the Lightening prevailed. Congrats to them.

On a much better side note, the AHL / ECHL plan on getting back on the ice officially in Dec.

    I'm late, i know.....

I watched the finals, really happy to see the Lighting get up! Hedman deserved MVP and McDonagh, easy to see why he was captain of the Rangers, wow he played some hard minutes!
There are guys i like in Dallas but i cannot barrack for a team that has #10 Perry on their roster, i just can't.... For the same reason (although i despise him sooooo much more) that i could never support Boston while #63 Marchand is on their roster. He's right up there with Bryan Marchment and Sean Avery in the scumbag category
