Wow! I have read every word up to page 110 (where the pictures stopped loading, I need shiny pictures) in the last 3 days when I should have been working. Absolutely epic, once in a lifetime for the lucky ones. To spend the time to continually update a RR in the midst of all that, and make it so intimate and informative, is a superhuman feat. Tons of good info here for all of us hooligans dreaming of taking dirt naps south of the equator. Memories to last a lifetime I'm sure. Thanks for letting us all ride bitch! (and not just RoadHD). Gracias Amigo!

    Hey Crashmaster :wave

Met you at the gas station in Girdwood on your new WR. Your intro to this ride report could have been mine- im terrible at making plans. I will read this as I get time- I really have no idea what to expect when I head for South America. As it turns out, theres a couple at the Harley dealer here in Anchorage from Uruguay that rode north from Argentina!

It was good talking to you and get that WR dirty!

I think it's cool to hear about people from some of the places we dream about riding coming to the USA too! We sure do have a lot of pretty country to ride, that's for sure!

NOT Denali. It's Sleeping Lady, Fire Island, then Turnagain Arm. In the 15 years I lived in Anchorville ,Kenai and Juneau I saw Denali like 3 times when the weather was just right. Sometimes visible on flights to FBX. Will claim beer on my next visit. Or you can pay up in Idaho. It's Alaska with roads and no Winnebagos clogging the roads. And you can see where you are going on the ski slopes unlike Girdweed (March-April excepted). God knows how many times I flew in and out of that airport between 1985 and 2011.

Yes sir, the beer is yours! Damned Go Pro:lol3 wide ass lens got me all confused!

We see Denali pretty often taking off out of ANC headed over to Nome to join the G-212 Russian route over to the Pac Rim. You can see it on departure off 33 on a clear day as well, but not close enough for that GoPro lens.

    Hey Vinnie,

Been a while since I checked in with you mate, hope all is well with you and that you have great adventures in the new year.

I am starting as I mean to go on, heading down to Patagonia (finally! I've only been here 3 years) on Jan 3 with 5 English mates and GEORGE! He turned 18, got his licence and has been rocking his DR650 for a month or so now and he makes the best riding partner ever :D

One of the reasons I am in here is as usual to look to your RR for "the knowledge" as the London taxi drivers call it.

Call me for a beer or a coffee if work ever brings you to Santiago

    All the best - Martyn

    Arise, Zombie Thread!

Just wanted to post something here, since I kept trying to meet CM in Mexico and CA years back.

Currently enjoying a cold beer and roasted chicken amid pregnant grape vines in the summer Mendoza heat. I would type Feliz Ano Nuevo, but without the accent, it just wishes you a new anus. Which, I guess, i also a kind sentiment for the new year. :rofl
