I started out with a ts 250 suzuki when I was 15 in 78. Ive gone through a 72 Z1900, an 96 rsl 1100, a 98 blackbird, a 99 vmax, a 06 zx14, I have a concourse 1400 now and just added the f800 to my garage...anyone know some good dirt roads not to far from the city?..I'm digging this site, I spend a lot of time over at bikeland.org though. I guess this is my official Hello!!

If you haven't already done so, try digging here for local dirt roads & rides -

The esteemed adventurer "wpbarlow" frequently leads mixed-surface rides just west of the Hudson, only a $10 dollar river crossing away.

Here's a NY Dirt Roads thread, though most are distant from mid-town NYC -

You yella guys just ought to give it up. Everyone knows you got that color because you felt the need to compensate for some inadequacy. Viagra is cheaper. :lol3

Thanks for the welcome folks. I been puttting on the miles since I picked it up during my commute. Once it warms up a bit I'll be lloking for some dirt. By then the oem tires should need replacing...maybe a more agressive tread is appropriate. Later. Happy New Years!!!...I'm heading out to Utah for some skiing in Park City.
