for sale: YZ250...ran great over the weekend, sat and now it won't start. Probably just needs a carb cleaning or spark plug

EDIT: Need recommendation on hydration pack for bike?

Temps will vary widely this month. Today it was 96. Monday next week is forecast in the 60's. I'm thinking maybe a Noob Camp Weekend up toward Big Bear in June.

If your bike's not ready; I've got a legit CA plated 2001 WR250F, set up for a 140lb B level desert racer, if you want to add a 4-stroke to your Yamaha collection.

Update: The fracture on the X-Ray was just the first hint. After 2 weeks fighting insurance company crap, they finally did the MRI. Bone has a total of 5 fractures. None of them have displaced, so no cast, no pins, no surgery (unless I walk on it, then the Doc says he has a box of screws with my name on it :bluduh ). 5 weeks to go. So I found something better than crutches.

I did the same thing, saw the first glance of the pic and went OH SHIT, then thought, there's no way.
Aww man! You're the second person I've ridden with who broke their foot that way. : (

If you're going to ride more dirt I really like my Sidi Crossfire boots. Heal up quick!

Sorry this happened. On the up side, you've got a good story for Pahrump!

What did you decide about your skid plate? Did you do some percussive maintenance or go with a new one?
