This is not even a pic of the deep soft sand that he cleanly road through....

I turned around on that section, to help cause I knew there would be carnage... :eek1

    Great pics!

Besides a bunch of Erzburg, here's the movies that I had on a memory card.

    Santa Monica'ish vintage races

Is this Panamint Springs 49'r trunk a bunk trunk? Or ....is it???
Ever stumble across artifacts while out riding in Death Valley?

If that's not cool enough for you, then I had this too.
    Yeaaaahh.
    <object width="480" height="360"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/CXyVp7iw10Q?version=3&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/CXyVp7iw10Q?version=3&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="480" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>
Back then, you could leave your doors open and go off riding.

And this one... When an enduro was an enduro.... and everything else.

Note how much riders stand on their bikes. Springs didn't give the rider the confidence, I suppose. You can see the old gas station that I think is still out on 14 in Mojave. But I am not sure. This started in Pasadena and hosted by the PMC, another old club.

Talking about the way bikes were changing shape and size.

In the 80's, Honda and Japanese bikes were dirt cool.

Clearly my photo skills are lacking but here they are. Mountain road to open road to rocky hill climb led us to this great view. Photo's won't win any awards or 606 tire from Joel, but man had a great time. :clap

Pearlite - good luck with the recuperation. That was one large get off that you experienced :eek1 Amazing that you and the machine were able to continue, showed a lot of determination. I thought that you would have residual damage. Happy to help out.

Oh yeah, Lippincott.................. Hopefully I'll feel the same way about it at the end of next year's ride as I do about Titus now. I owe a debt of gratitude to RobG and macadamia for helping me pick my bike up so many times on that ride.

I guess I'll head home today. I'm going to take my time - at least until I hit rain. I've never been to San Fran so I may swing through there on the way.

    Seee you all next year!
