    Hello everyone!
On the second semester of this year me and my father are spending 4 months travelling around US and Canada for 4 months.
I write to you hoping to find information about the equipment we should be carrying (clothes and motorcycle accesories), first aid kit, and most important of all; places that you consider as must-see locations or roads or experiences.
Tahnk you very much for your time!

any/or all of the national parks, it might be easy to make small detours in the route you have planned to visit them.
are you interested in the "iconic" places ?.. new york, las vegas, new orleans, san francisco .. ?

have you gone through the tent space thread ? you might be able to square away quite a bit of your lodging. a lot of what you pack or what gear you might need is going to depend on how and where you're going to be eating/cooking, and spending the nights.

Might want to tell us when, and what you're interested in. I wouldn't want to do North Dakota in the winter, or the southeast in the summer. California has some amazing sights, coast, mountains, desert, cities too. The Western half of the USA is empty until you get to the coast (unless you're Australian, it's more populated than the outback).

Where are you entering? Second semester here is our winter to spring (January to May).

Western USA along the coast is the mildest weather. The Rocky Mountains go pretty much from Canada to Mexico with some really great. The desert in between the West Coast and the Rockies can get really, really hot (110*F).

Look over in the ride reports ( https://advrider.com/f/forums/ride-reports-epic-rides.99/ ) and trip planning ( https://advrider.com/f/forums/americas.57/ )sections for ideas. If you are coming in or out of the Los Angeles area feel free to get in touch with me as I might be able to help with a place to stay or get bikes from customs.

First off I hope you have as nice of a time in our country as I did in yours. I will admit our "fast food" is horrible compared to what you have there.

I'm not all that smart so you will have to explain what months you are planning on being here.

To better help here are a few questions I've got for you:
    • Where do you plan on sleeping? Camping, hotel/motel, hostel, etc?
    • What are you riding?
    • How long do you typically like to ride per day?
    • What do YOU want to see?
    • Are you planning to travel the whole country or stay more western / central / eastern?
    • Just like South America, North America is vast with lots to see and experience
I hope you get more than your share of information and have an amazing trip.
