In Missouri we stopped to see another president but not Truman.
Interesting plaque... but...
Cool taggin man,
In the last week egg traveled 2400 miles through the following States:
Next weekend the egg will go another 100 miles into Kansas and get dropped off.
All upcoming pictures will help locate the egg.
Egg and I will be separating soon but before we do I took egg to my cabin in Linn County, Kansas.
Egg checked cattle with me.
Those steers weigh about 800 pounds each.
Egg has been dropped.
Once you find this building you are within 6 miles of the drop:
The building is an old pump station.
Next look for this stretch of road.
Within a mile of that spot you'll come across this gate:
Find the fence post the egg is sitting on, reach around it and you'll find the package.
The egg is 2.5 miles of easy gravel from the nearest black top.
If you come on a weekend and the gate is open most likely I'm around. Ride down the driveway and say "hi".
I was there about 1PM, gate was closed. I never did find that pump station, I came straight in from the south off of Hwy 31.
Eggy is on the way to Oklahoma.
On the way home we stopped to check on the Dalton gang (Linky) in their final resting place, Coffeyville, Kansas.
I think this is the one:
The Old Centerville Pumphouse

Yeah, I looked all over google maps before I went up there and didn't see the pump house, got home last night and looked at maps and there it was. Don't know why I couldn't find it before.
The intersection of Botkin and 900 roads was easy though.
Yesterday was a nice cool day for riding, unusual for August around here.
Dropped eggy off today, hid him under a rock. Didn't have time to take him sightseeing or partying, just wanted to get him out there for the next guy.
He's in Oklahoma, first you find this place, google knows where it is.
There is a "park and ride" to the right, looks like this from across the street. That drive to the right headed toward that big billboard. Yes, it's next to the interstate but that's fine.
Go all the way to the end of the parking lot. Notice straight behind my bike there is a pile of dirt.
Go to the dirt pile and look behind it.
You will see a white rock, eggy is under this rock.
HEAD WEST YOUNG MAN, HEAD WEST!
North .....a little ..
I'll get a twofer
Headed west a little
And farther west
And farther west
If you look close, you can see eggy perched on the wall under the A of National
You just leave that poor guy sitting on that wall?
There's wild indian ghosts running around out there!
