Bob Aka "Snowman" and myself planned on a trip from Renovo, pa to Lake Erie and back utilizing the most gravel roads available. Bob gets all of the credit for the trip planning and finding the gravel roads.
Bob showed up at my place with his DR650 on his truck. I had my DRz400 on the trailer ready to go.

We decided to haul our bikes up to Bobs cabin and use it as a base camp for our ride. A very wise decision.
    Bob cabin is located here.

Another local ADv rider Shane would come up and spend the night laughing & drinking with us Saturday night. He will not be riding with us because his son is returning from Germany on Sunday afternoon.

Bob will chime in with comments and photos also. If we can remember what the heck we did two weeks ago.

We came across this old bridge. It's pretty cool. Bob probably can remember the location as he has been there on previous occasions.

Tim, I'm having trouble posting pics, I'll fix that soon.
    Design
According to bridge engineering firm Modjeski & Masters, this is an eyebar chain suspension bridge.
    Dimensions
Length of largest span: 299.9 ft.
    Total length: 306.1 ft.
    Deck width: 15.1 ft.
Vertical clearance above deck: 9.8 ft.
    English Center, Pa
I think it is one of the last still in use.
There is a water crossing for large trucks next to the bridge

We set out Sunday to visit Tommu56 at his camp above Waterville. I believe Tim's pic is from Tom's back porch.
From there we headed northish through Cedar Run up to the Bradly Wales lookout at the Grand Canyon of Pa
