It never did like to start in the cold. I am sure rejetting would help that.
You need a studded paddle tire for when it gets deeper.
And some better gloves... it didn’t take long for my clutch fingers to get really, really chilly at 23 degrees.
Heated grips would sure be nice for the late/early season riding.
On your back 40?
Now that winter is here...
I've looked in the garage, I don't have a scrambler...
Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE
@c-zulu. Those scramblers are some sweet-action.
FYI, looks like the IMS show is back to it's normal schedule of February. If you recall, last year it was in December due to the Superbowl conflicting. It's a ways out, but I'm tentatively going to head down the night before, grab a hotel and a steak somewhere downtown and then hit the show Saturday morning. If anyone else on the Shore is interested, happy to carpool.
I just looked up the date, I'll be on my way to AZ then, probably somewhere in Kansas. I really wanted to see the new Moto Guzzi. Guess I'll have to see one in Phoenix.
That sounds like it would be a good weekend get away. I should check my schedule.
Solid 2.5 hours or so out in the slick woods today. Will need studded tires this winter. Planning to actually start cutting in some single track this year.
Let me know when you want to cut, I could probably break free and bring a saw over to help.
This is me working on my trails.
I like steak!
Oh, and Brad(with the drone) just bought a Scrambler.
That’s pretty neat.
That time of year again when I get bounced around by rocks hiding in snow.
Well the temperature warmed up to almost 40. Took the CB550 out for its last ride of the year before putting it away for the winter.
